It’s no secret that the rushing attack has leapfrogged quarterback play as the Miami Dolphins’ most troublesome issue.Don’t let the team’s 4.9 yards per carry average fool you. It appears we’re entering year two of the Dolphins’ struggles to produce a respectable running game.Remember when we thought a 3.7 yards per carry average was bad?Reggie Bush averaged 3.5 yards on his 11 carries against the Patriots. Daniel Thomas and Charles Clay are both nursing hamstring injuries, and truth be told neither of those rookies are ready to become bulldozers in the NFL.And right or wrong, the Dolphins didn’t see enough of veteran Larry Johnson in practice last week to play him against the Patriots on Monday night. If it wasn’t for Chad Henne’s impersonation of Michael Vick, which netted Miami 59 rushing yards and a touchdown on seven carries, the Dolphins would possess one of the worst – if not THE WORST – rushing games in the NFL.But that distinction could be coming soon if this offensive line doesn’t get it’s act together and start opening up respectable holes, and if help doesn’t arrive soon.http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...sweblog+(Miami+Dolphins+|+Sun-Sentinel+Blogs)
