I started a thread a couple weeks ago where I said that I thought that the winner in the Saints/Giants game would be the biggest threat to our '72 Dolphins perfect season record. It's very early to start this conversation, but looking at New Orleans' schedule, if we can't beat them in Miami next week, they have a legitimate shot of winning all their games in the regular season.

They play the Bucs twice, the Panthers twice, the Rams, & the redskins. They also have to play Atlanta twice, but I don't think the falcons can compete with Drew Brees and that much improved Defense. That leaves New England & Dallas. The pats game is a catch-22, we want to see both teams lose, and Dallas has no shot in my opinion. Who do you think will beat this Offensive Powerhouse?

My biased hopeful prediction - Miami 33 - Saints 31 (how great would that feel?!?!) :hump:

Us. Next week. The Giants secondary is awful and they were without Aaron Ross today, that's why they were abused. We've got rookies, yes, but two of the best rookie corners in the league. Our safeties are much better than NYG's (if Gibril Wilson will learn how to tackle in the bye week especially). It will be a much tougher test for them next week.

Who knows. They'd have to beat us to be undefeated though.

Yeah, this game scares me. However, while it was entirely different teams, we defeat the undefeated Bears, twice. So, anything can happen.

What we have that the Saints haven't gone against though, is that we can keep the opposing offense of the field if we REALLY want to. Also, we don't have an idiot at QB like they've played against lately.

If we can keep the offense of the field, and the pass coverage decides not to be terrible, we have a chance at this.

After seeing the Raiders beat the Eagles, anything can happen.

If Sean Smith can do this i confident we will win this game. Drew will be embarrassed and cry going out of the stadium and all he will have to say is this kid is going to have an amazing career.

honestly? yes. their schedule is cake from here on out and they're no joke on both sides of the ball. i'm sincerely hoping we keep that in mind and play like we're defending that '72 team's legacy - b/c there's a decent chance that might be the case. best team in the league IMO.

The only teams with a chance to beat the Saints are the Dolphins, the Falcons (2), the Patriotsk and the Cowboys. I think the worst record for this team is 12-4.

true - anything is possible i suppose. but do you honestly think the saints will **** the bed like that? i don't.

I sure hope not, but i've been a Saints fan for a very long time and I'm a little gun shy ;)

BUT, These are NOT my father's Saints!!
