Did coach Philbin order the "code red"?

He ordered the code red like the other 31 coaches do. You think he was the first head coach to tell one of his players to toughen another player up? We are going to be the example and get hammered by the NFL. Everything will be blown way out of control, this is the tip of the iceberg on this case. Really sucks....

Oh I'm sure it's going to be an enormous **** show.

The Davie "Titanic" is likely going down.

Can we handle it? We have no other choice.

if we're voicing opinions, I do not think Philbin did.

I think Jim Turner did. More to the point of your analogy…which coach is the former Marine?

I came into this year really excited for our team! The first blow was Keller going down and then the lack of big plays from Wallace. The next thing was the offensive line issues with all of the sacks! If this wasn't enough then Gibson goes down for the year then and all of this along with the 4 game slide. Now the mother of all dark clouds comes along!!!!! I cannot believe this!!

Yeah, Philbin probably did not do it, but he is going to get the blame because he's the boss.

I don't think Joe Philbin is the warm-hearted, fuzzy guy he is seen as here. I think he is a total hard-ass in private. Just the impression I get from Hard Knocks and from the occasional report about things like him dressing down an assistant in front of everyone.

I think that if all parties involved can figure out a path out of this, Joe can keep his job if the team performs well. If Richie's camp or Martin's camp decides to raze the earth though, it's over for Joe.

I highly doubt that everything has come out yet.

This is sort of a different circumstance wouldnt to agree? This coaching staff has ZERO control over the players.

Yes so next year or there after you can be calling for the next clowns to be fired.

I disagree. I've seen nothing to indicate that the coaches have no control over what's going on. Far worse happened on the Dallas Cowboys when they were winning Super Bowls, did JJ not have control of the team?

Guys who played under people after Jimmy said that Jimmy had a bit more control over the team, but it got really bad after he left.

As for the thread. The truth is either Philbin knew what happened or he didn't. I don't think it's going to come out that it was an unsafe locker room, but I do think Philbin could lose his job

If they fail as miserably as this regime, yes. Or do you think this regime is doing a good job?

This situation aside, Ireland needs to go just purely because he sucks at his job. Add in this fiasco...I wont lose any sleep if the whole house is cleaned.
