Can Will Poole return this year?

Or has he been put on the Injured Reserve list, or some other list that would prevent his return by league rules?

I know it's not likely that his injury would allow him to return, or even wise for him to attempt it depending on the seriousness of the injury, but I'm just trying to find out if it's even theoretically possible.

Reggie Howard did not look good out there today.

Technically, he has a timeframe to come back in, I believe week 10 is the last week he can be activated. I don't know the severity of his tear, but he would have had to have a relatively minor tear in order to come back, which we never really got news on.

By week 10 we might know whether this team will be able to compete -this- year. It's obviously too soon to assume that, but it is a possibility, and if this team is destined for the postseason at that point (not something I'm willing to say just yet), we might want to hold a roster spot for him even if he can't come back until week 15 or so.

Wasn't he placed on IR? Which makes him gone for the whole season and playoffs automatically?

I think he is on the PUP list. Even if he came back, he wouldn't be much good to us this year. Those injuries really need about 12-14 months to heal.
