Canceling your season tickets.

Already spoke to my season ticket rep, the renewal period was in November and they're non-refundable at this point.
I have heard of people cancelling the payment plan transactions but you'll lose that money most likely already taken out.
I've already paid a third of what's owed so in for a dollar in for a Grier i suppose.

EDIT: I also asked at renewal time if i could extend my renewal decision until this month to avoid this exact circumstance that just played out, they said no.

Again…. Sigh 😔

The owner is exceedingly wealthy he doesn’t need to sell tickets to keep his toy
It is not about just his money. Make the others in the organization feel it. The sale manager, the charity workers, their pain will move upward. Ross will se more turnover form lower positions, more bad reports, he will know he is doing a dog **** job.

Season tickets is big deal for the organization, that is anywhere between 100-150 million in revenue to the team that they don't have to share with other teams.

I don't think Ross will necessarily care if he takes a hit on them this season, but he probably won't take the hit until next year when people don't renew because of this off-season (such as myself) because the renewal period isn't until November.

A lot of money for me

Chump change for any mogul people wearing paper bags is a worse look than bad ticket sales

fans showing up with bags always gets press coverage, should be the norm. But, Fins will lull some in believing they are good and crumble when it counts. That's a bet I'll always take.

He bought the team with money in hand, franchise is a toy for these owners

Paper bags mean more than empty seats or selling to the other teams fans

I had season tickets for 14 years ending in 2004.
Compared to this dysfunctional clown 🤡 show those were great years. You don't cancel to hurt Ross because it won't. You cancel and watch TV so you can turn it off when they fold.
The money would be better saved or invested.

Cause they know by January we are cooked.

One of your reasons for trying to cancel a season ticket is to hurt Charity workers?
Then by default you want to hurt charities.
That is very sad, possibly the worst reason I have ever heard.

Why would you want to hurt people in the Fins offices? They’ve got jobs that I’m sure they’d love to keep. I know I don’t wish bad things on these people. Save your disdain for the GM or the coach or someone who actually disappoints you and will still be rich in the process.

This. Plus pro sport teams also provide a massive return on investment. Ross bought the Dolphins for 1.1 billion. He just sold a 13% stake at somewhere around a Billion. The franchise is valued at between 7-8 Billion. A bad year od tickets saled is like you and me loosing a jar if quarters.
