said it in multiple other threads, only guy i would consider restructuring is X. Give him his salary as a signing bonus and make vet min. This gives him what he wants with more guaranteed money. I would put incentives on it as well. should do the trick and save what 12 mil? he is the only one worth restructure, bc i want him for the long haul

once Van Noy comes off the books, yes. Need about 11.5mill for the draft picks and 5mill for the in season moves which leaves about 17mill for free agency unless we make some more cuts.

I think the $33mm counts KVN. And don't forget re-signing Baker/Ogbah/Karras or some combination. And if all cuts are replaced by league-minimum players, that still eats in to cap. As it stands, one top FA and Miami's essentially done . . . unless there are quite a few more cuts/restructures.

That number does include KVN being gone.

yeah I said once Van Noy comes off the books then we have about 33mill
Also, no need to do anything with Ogbah as he's still have this year under contract. Same with Baker. Karras is the only one and either they bring him back or get a center in free agency or in the draft

Does that $33M include the savings from cutting KVN? I'm kidding. I see its been discussed already. :)

I know they have a year left, but I thought there were articles stating Miami was trying to re-sign. Still, rookies, carry-over, likely X, maybe Karras, maybe a few low-priced others - all those eat cap. And while a specific player's exit may save, say $4mm, getting a league minimum payer eats in to that. Yet, it seems some claim cutting McCain/wilson/Hurns leaves enough for Golladay, as if replacing the other two entails no cost. Yes, Miami can still tweak the cap, but I don't see all these top tier FAs being Dolphins next year.
