When will the captains be announced..and who do you guys think will be the captains. I think it will be Henne, Long, Dansby, and Bell. However, I love what Bush brings to the table as a leader as well. Thoughts..
 
Hopefully Henne will be one.. that to me will speak volumes of what the players really think of him outside of interviews.

Good point.

The flip side of that coin: If he's not one, does that also mean it "will speak volumes of what the players really think of him outside of interviews"

... Just something to think about :idk:

No sorries, I never thought about it, but just thinking about it, you are probably right . . . . Long/Henne/Dansby/Bell/Bush . . . seems like those 5 guys would be ideal. Maybe Randy Starks . . . or Dan Carpenter (j/k I can see the jokes from here if he were).

They will probably announce them when the 53 man roster is set . . . the week of the first game.

Also a good point.. unfortunately I think it would, since a lot of guys on the team are saying "oh he such a great leader now, huge difference rah rah" so who knows. I saw something in an article though that made a lot of sense, saying how with Pennington not here anymore it makes it much easier for Henne to step up. The dude was too well liked for Henne to be his own guy.

I actually remember a few people here saying a year or two ago that for Henne to succeed, Penny has to be gone for that very reason.
 
I agree...Henne NEEDS to be a captain. It will do a ton for his confidence and he needs every bit of that as he can get. Anything positive for Chad Henne is a positive for the Miami Dolphins. We need him to step up this year, and he needs to know that his teammates are behind him.
 
I think it will be:

Offense:
Long
Henne
Bush

Defense:
Dansby
Bell
Taylor
 
Sucky players can't be named captain, my list: Long, Bell, Bush, Dansby, Taylor, Starks,
 
Wake had better be one! He is one of the best players we have!
