Have anybody else heard about the rumor that Lions and Cardinals should be switching 1st round picks?? Apparently Cardinals are going for Thomas and Lions for a DE - presumably Anderson.

Where'd you hear that?
Arizona definitely needs Thomas more than anyone else in the league, but that could cost them a first round pick. That sounds like too good a deal for Matt Millen to execute anyway.

I do have a link, but i'ts in Danish, so I don't assume that you're interested...?

Anyway, if there's any thruth to it we'll probably hear more about it, but it doesn't seem that far fetched.

it definately makes sense for the cards since if they get a franchise LT they will potentially have an ELITE offense for the next 5 or so years. and i cant seem to decide if this makes it more or less likely detroit may want quinn... detroit trades down knowing that quinn will be there still AND acquires picks, if they want him, they made a good move with getting some picks along the way. something interesting to think about also is that we may trade up then to detriots spot to get quinn while they move down to pick levi brown at our pick and try to fill their need at LT. i dont want us to trade up but our front office might REALLY like quinn.

The Cards need o-line help but I'm not so sure an elite LT makes much sense since they have a left handed qb. Normally you want a solid LT to guard the qbs blind side. You would think they'd be going after an elite RT.

If you guys want Quinn, you don't want this trade to happen. Detroit is FAR more likely to take Quinn at #5 than at #2, and you don't have to worry about the Cardinals taking him at either spot obviously. I thought it was a slam dunk that the Lions were taking Thomas, but maybe they are seeing what they can get for him first.
