With all these coordinators getting yanked you have to wonder if Saban is going to yank Malarky during the BYE? and if he does who do we replace him with?

To tell the truth, I was more of a fan of Jeff Garret being the OC. But one has to wonder if Garret wasn't upgraded to OC because there wasn't any other QB coach worth hiring.

Is he related to Jason Garrett?

Mularkey isn't going to be fired, so forget about it. He didn't fire Linehan after our lame start last year, and it's not going to happen now.

Again....why do you fire the O.C. when they miss a fieldgoal to win?

Did you watch that game?

They should have TRIED to complete some more passes after those 3 turnovers when they had that GREAT field position. That game was a heatbreaker. I think Green will be working the studios again in 2007.

Forget Garrett... promote Charlie Baggett, the WR coach. He was Linehan's right hand man... he has been in this offense for years... and he worked with Culpepper on the Vikings.

He knows how to run this offense and how to maximize it... including maximizing Culpepper's abilities.

for always being in the position to need a field goal to tie or win the game in the waning seconds!

Weird. You score 23 pts against the NFL's best D -- more than any other team so far -- and you fire your O-Co? What did he have to do with Linehart being blind-sided; Edgrin getting stripped and fumble; and ST giving up a punt return. If anything, I thought his aggressiveness in the second half kept drives moving and the the ball AWAY from Chicago's O for the most part. Denny Green just snapped last night,a nd this is another aftershock..

I did watch the game....while I agree with you that perhaps they should have thrown alittle bit more....we have to remember that they were facing the best defense in the NFL and with a rookie QB.

Edge ran 36 times. The defense played great against the bears. I thought the OC called a good game. That goes to show though, winners will find a way to win when their backs are against the wall. I wouldn't be surprised if they go to the superbowl. Rex would have to do much better. I had to start him this wk because Brady was on bye in my Fantasy league. all I needed was a pt or so from him and I win, instead I get -6.

They played SO good for the most of the 1st half. It's almost like that guy was playing 'Marty ball'....

I think Green may just be trying to save his arse. I read on that NFL rumors site that they will probably try and get Leinart's former coach next year. I don't blame them.
