This time around I'm pulling for Arizona, or more so against Carolina. Let me explain. Week 17, Carolina at New Orleans, late in the 4th quarter and Drew Brees needing only 16 yards to pass Marino's single game passing record. To set up the winning the kick, John Fox calls a timeout with 6 seconds. WHY???? Run the clock to :03 or :02, but :06. Even the announcers were left wondering why Fox called the T.O. with the amount of time left. Anyway, kick was good and Carolina led.

So, inexcusebly, John Kasey kicks the friggin ball out of bounds. Giving Brees one last chance with :01 second on the clock and to break Marino's record. Thankfully, Brees last gasp pass fell harmlessly, but without nervous feelings to the Superdome turf. And thus allowing Dan Marino to keep his record for yet another year. So, thanks to John Fox, John Kasey and the rest of the Carolina Panthers, I'll be rooting for the Arizona Cardinals tonight.

lol I seriously doubt John Fox was thinking about Marino's record when he called that timeout. He blows homefield advantage if the kicker misses . . . . he had WAY more on his mind.

I have always wondered why coaches don't run it to 3 seconds . . . maybe they are scared of botching the snap or something . . . but Fox isn't the only one that calls timeout with like 6 or 7 seconds . . . boggles my mind.

Carolina is being embarassed. Worse than our game last week.

Everybody laughed at my job when I said I expect San Diego and Arizona take make both Championship games.

Arizona is up 27-7 in the second quarter. They are dangerous when they are on . . . and this is w/o Boldin. Still early, but Carolina better wake up . . . specifically Jake Delhomme.

And Larry Fitzgerald is just an absolute monster . . . best WR in the league.

Actually Andre Johnson is the best WR in the league, but Fitz is amazing too.

Nah, probably the best WR body . . . but he has been hurt too often to put him ahead of Fitzgerald. Fitz has been the man for 5 years strong. Fitz is the total package and best WR in the air.

Well my top 8:

1. Larry Fitzgerald
2. Andre Johnson
3. Anquan Boldin
4. Calvin Johnson
5. Steve Smith
6. Randy Moss
7. Reggie Wayne
8. Terrell Owens

Damn this is starting to look like our game .. 30-7 and 5 turnovers for the Panthers

so much for boldin being out and they struggling. looks like the cards are doing what the colts did when they won the defense making plays

Yeah really man.. and correction, 33-13 now. Not exactly a game changing score though

Unbelievable.....

I'll say the Cardinals have NO chance of winning next week. But i've said that the last two weeks about them, so what the hell do i know.
