Is this why Ronnie went first?

I don't want to put a jynx on Ron, but I watched him "tweak" his hamstring and he was back at practice within 3 days.

Carnell hurt his foot against the Bills? And now his hammy? And a boot all of a sudden?

I hope he's not hurt, but are these the signs of the 1,000 horsepower engine in the wet paper body?

Things happen I mean at one time Ken Griffy was among the most sturdy of players.

well as we all know cadillac's are primarily for show(carnell)..and hummers are used for heavy duty(ronnie):)...so take ur pick...

UHHH, maybe Carnell's hamstring is hurt worse than Ronnie's.. ever think of that?

Just cuz Ronnie tweaked his hammy doesn't mean Carnell is feeling the same type of pain.

Couldn't you tell him that with a better attitude? :shakeno:

its apples to oranges.

i am sure Saban knew how bad our o-line was and knew that durability was an issue. even that being said, Caddy had more carries in the first three weeks than some RBs will have through 6 weeks... so its to be expected he would sustain some type of injury.

the only thing we can say "i told you so" about is how we were saying that Gruden was going to run Caddy into the ground with so many carries..... he did, and we were right, Caddy is grounded.

Maybe that's because Caddy has carried the ball over 100 times and he was hurt going into games. This isn't Caddy's fault, you shouldn't leave it up to players to say if they can play or not, the player is always going to say that they are fine because they wanna get out there and compete. This falls on Gruden's shoulders and his inability to manage games well.

Caddy always had injury concerns and red flags before the draft... that is one of the reasons that Ronnie was rated higher on draft boards. Caddy had some trouble staying healthy on the college level. People were concerned if he could stay healthy at the next level... Thats one of the main reasons why he tried gaining some weight before the draft... So far, it is looking like he is having trouble with that. However, he is a rookie and most rookies usually have some injury issues their first year. (Think of last years rookie RBs... Steven Jackson, Julius Jones, Kevin Jones, Chris Perry)

Nasty

Yep... The Caddy's in the shop... We all saw it coming. Did you see how many carries he was on pace for??? 470ish!! Thats rediculous! We were absolutly running Ricky into the ground his last year here and he got around 370 that year! A hundered more carries than Ricky?? No way any rookie can survive that let alone one of Caddy's size. Ricky was takin that pounding at around 235 lbs... 20 more lbs than Caddy weighs... it was ineviteble...

Nasty

They rode the caddy a bit too much this early. He'll be back, and running in no time.

Actually we ran Ricky 392 times. And that followed a 383 carry season.

That amount of carries in consecutive seasons is, my friends, an NFL record.

Go Wanny!!
