I know it has been asked many times if we should have taken carnell williams over ronnie brown, Well i just heard on sirius radio that he back problems that will give him problems all year long, and that it could be something that would bother years down the road also

and ronnie could blow a knee tomorrow that could effect him the rest of his career.

what's your point?? Players get injured. It's not like he had this injury coming out of Auburn

i m sorry to hear that, hopefully he will be ok

but as for cadillac vs ronnie i would still take ronnie anyday of the week

actually, he did have injuries coming out of auburn.. everyone said that Ronnie was the way more durable back, and that has proven to be very very true so far.

don't get me wrong tho they're both really good but doesn't seem like Carnell can stay healthy for a whole season

Yeah, that's one clear advantage they saw Ronnie had (and still has) over Carnell when it was draft time.

yep i specifically remember posting in a thread at draft time saying how I like the choice of Ronnie, i read lots of scouting reports that said he was a very durable and strong back. I'll take that over a little more speed anyday

Brown had a second advantage: Saban knew firsthand how punishing his style of play is from every Auburn/LSU game he coached and looking at his players afterward.

hell yah Ronnie is the man he really needs to start getting 21-24 carries instead of 15. I know we had to throw the ball a little more in the last 2 games but I think we threw it a little a too much.

My recollection was that was a BIG question about RB when he came out. But I agree so far he's proving he can be.
