Carolina @ Miami will not be shown in Tampa area

Jets-Jags will be a very interesting game, at least your getting some good games. I'll end up with something stupid like The Redskins, Cowboys or Giants like i always do, not to mention the Raiders having their ***** kicked in Philly.

insead of the Fins, we get the jets vs. jaguars :fire:

at 4 pm, we the steelers vs. the pats

Just make sure you call the local broadcast station and *****. If enough people complain, they'll change the next time out. I had channel 4 on speed daily 2 years ago and last year I saw nearly every fin game. This year I will do the same every time they show a Jags game instead. The more people who rally for the fins will help them see that fins audience.

yeah, they will be good games. both jets and pats could lose, so it could be a good day!

finjim: i hate you

wtf? that makes no sense. miami games are here all the time, and the bucs' main foe is the panthers, why wouldn't they show that? lame

It isnt the local station's decision, its CBS and the contract they have with NFL to play certain games in certain areas.

Like, in Orlando- its considered a JAG "home market" so the CBS is forced to play all JAG home games.

CBS is for AFC games. FOX is for NFC teams. It depends on the visiting team to determine if it's going to be on CBS or FOX. The Bucs are on Fox at 1pm on Sunday. That's why the Phins game won't be shown.

yeah i hear thats the rule, but thats not what happened in week 1. the bucs and fins were on at the same time.

the fact that its an inter-conference game must have something to do with it.

your right, FOX would be covering this game cause they are the away team

Because the Bucs played on the road and were on Fox. The Phins played on CBS.
