Every news outlet covering this says the scuffle started because of Carptenter's hit on Grant. That's not the case if you actually watch the film. Carpenter follows up the hit by going over to Grant and standing over him taunting. I like that our players took exception and got on him. Not only is he a crappy kicker but he actually should've been flagged for 15 on that play.

One thing I do think this shows though is this team doesn't take any garbage from anyone. Last year Joe Philbin was soft, and it showed among the players. No long is Rex Ryan going to lead his team in to bully around the Dolphins. You're going to get in our face? Well, you'll pay for it.

Noticed Darren Rizzi going after a few Bills players. Awesome seeing the fight in this team

Rizzi would probabaly beat carpenter up in a fight.

and Grant for that matter...

I hate situations like that. Players need to put their pride in their back pocket and just that go. A 15 yard penalty there would have been huge for either team. I'm glad the refs just let it go. If a Dolphin did something in the scuffle to warrant a penalty I would have lost it.

Drake is coming along nicely. Grants return was special and timely, good to see the youth playing with passion and showing up in big spots.

Did Dan Carpenter seriously talk **** after a special teams play?

:sidelol:

He's a ****ing bum.

Have you ever been in a competitive atmosphere quite like that? I'd imagine it'd be extremely difficult to not back your teammates up when they are getting punked like that. I LOVE the team attitude they showed. And I would do the exact same thing had I been on that sideline.

Unfortunately, I clicked on the video of Tyler Lockett completely destroying his leg on that Deadspin page. Wow.

Watch Drake not only demolish a defender, but take Carpenter the **** OUT for trying to disrespect his teammate. You better believe his cred just went up in the locker room. Our front office is finally honing in on the Alpha males needed to grab control of the AFC East.
