Carter out fo how long?

Read a story saying that Carter is out fo rthe rest of the month and ight be gone until 3 games left in the season. Does anyone have any confirmation on this? If this is true we completely wastedour time and money signing this guy. I know he is injured but geez, did we really have to give up Oronde for this?
 
I think DCH wrote that it will be up to the Doctors and not Cris Carter if he will play again this year. With his age and kidneys taking shots, assuming Lucas gets him the damn ball, I don't see him coming back. In his post DCH made the comment that Thursday we should know more. My thoughts are don't count on seeing him play this year. Missing that many games and getting the late start that he did, no way could he get into game shape with so few games left in the season.
 
I knew he was a bad investmenet at this stage in the game. So what now? Jacquez Green was picked up by Detroit and Herman Moore by the Giants. Are there ay young half-way decent players at wide reciever out there? Can we bring in Sam Simmons off of the practice squad? Anyone heard anything?
 
iceblizzard, yeah I know he is there but are we thinking of bringing him up? Or are we banking that Carter can come back. Perosnally I say we put him on ir and move on.
 
I personally don't see us bringing in another vet-wr at this point, regardless of Carter coming back, or not. Lucas has too much to fix right now, to have to now get timed up with a new face. He can't even get timed up with the guys that have been there all year. How will he do it in a week, or two?

I see Wanny just sticking it out with CC, and if he can not make it back, he will just give Baker extra reps, and possibly promote Simmons off the PS. At least Ray has worked with those guys all year.
 
Instead of promoting SamSimmons from the practice squad to the real team so he cna get so practice time with Lucas, howabout we demote Lucas to the practice squad instead? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :lol
