On Sunday during the CBS pre-game show Charlie Casserly said the Dolphins made an offer for Braylon Edwards in the offseason. I wonder what we offered. I wonder what we should have offered. I wonder if we should have offered anything at all.

we should have offered a 3rd a 5th and davonne bess, i think that would have done it. in the jets trade the 3rd goes to a 2nd, so we might have had to make it a 2nd.

Shefter said they wanted Brown. Not a chance in hell.

I wouldn't even give up Bess for him. 3rd, 5th and Camarillo? Maybe.

Espn reported before the game that the deal almost went down for Ronnie Brown. There's no way I can believe that Parcells and Co. would have even considered that though unless Cleveland threw in a 1st round pick as well.

Yeah ESPN was trying to spin it as if we were going to trade Brown for Edwards straight up... NOT A CHANCE.

i'm not a big fan of braylon edwards but he played great last night. he would be better than any receiver the dolphins have right now at least. ;)

Sorry but we'd be 0-5 if we didn't have Brown right now. We MUST resign this guy.

The poll is a little vague. It depends on what the offer was. If they wanted Ronnie then a resounding 'F No' would suffice.

Good point. Ronnie for Braylon Edwards is a definite no. However a 3rd, 5th, special teams player, and a wideout for Edwards is something I would have considered.
