let's see
QB's-Gus Frerrote, Sage Rosenfels, Cleo Lemon
CB's-Travis Daniels, Will Poole, maybe Madison(prob. Not), and Reggie Howard.
I would choose a QB, unless we get one in FA, which would be best and then i would choose a CB
A CB in the first round, because there is a chance we get a QB via free agency. But I would draft a QB in the late rounds to see what he's got.
Daniels is good, pool has potential, but potential isn't enough in this league. Madison will be gone and howard...well you know. So a CB would be my pick. :dolphins:
I think you go with the best player available and how Saban & Mueller have them graded out. I mean if Huff is there and he is graded higher than a QB or CB at that point, you take Huff. If there is a LT there that is graded high, maybe you take him. My point is you just don't go for a certain position, you go for the highest rated players at that point. That is how you have good drafts.
WE NEED TO DO WHATEVER WE CAN TO TRADE UP AND DRAFT VINCE YOUNG! if not, then we draft Omar Jacobs, Reggie Mcniel.....Take a chance with Marcus Vick...some kind of a qb that can move. Im sick of watching slow qb's, ITS BORING...unless youre a Peyton Manning type player that can actually throw the ball. The QB position in the game is changing, and if you cant outrun linemen......YOURE DONE!!
QB or CB doesn't make a difference to me. It's all about value. If we can get a value pick at QB, I'd take it. If it's at CB, then take it. Long term I believe the greater need is at QB, but I wouldn't reach for one in the first round.
