and they had a paragraph that stated that nick is a heck of a coach but it will take us 3 years before we become a 500. team and they think our wr corp is the worst in the leauge . they must think that chambers is average at best, i dont undertstand why chambers gets no respect. they did give us a b in the draft but they think we should have drafted a wwr in the 2nd round and this is the only part i agree with.
with the randy situation like it is i am beginning to think we should have drafted te billy bajema in the 7th rd.

Now that quote is the most moronic statement from the media this year. We are in great shape in that department. Have they seen who San Francisco is lining up? Jeeze.

Also, do you have a link to this article?

The media skim the surface. It's fair enough for them to see all our bad points as a 4 win season brings them all to the surface but very few reporters, media outlets etc. see our lurking presence.

I think we'll pull a San Diego 04 out this season (to some extent). We have the talent, the processes, and indeed, I think we will be at least .500 in 3 years, but that doesn't mean we can't be .500+ this year, the year after etc

Did Billy Bronco make that article too?

it was on cbs sports.com they had a segment on the rankings with a comment and other little segments but truthfuly i was reading between the line a little bit but they also made a comment on matt roth and they basically said we should'nt of drafted him when wew already had two guys and this where the wr corp came up but all the talk shows i have heard are basically predicting us to win 3 -5 games due to the qb and wr corp and why they said it was boston was un proven and chambers ,booker and thompson were like 60 yrs old speed wise. which was bull crap.

It goes to show how little the media really knows. I'm sure they picked the chargers to go to the playoffs last year.

I am worried about our receiving depth.I dont think Boston will make it out of training camp without sustaining an injury. Then there is CC and Booker and a lot of unproven talent after them. One of those two goes down and we have a pretty thin core of WRs.

does any of you guys know how te victor seesay and te sherlock holmes is doing ? oops did i say sherlock ? well i forgot his name the kid from usc ! does anyone know he is doing i would like to know.

His name is Alex Holmes. I have no clue how he is doing since all they had were mini camps so far. Wait until TC starts. Also, Sesay was cut.

I highly doubt our depth will be a problem, with rookie receivers like Josh Davis and Maurice Mann. And what about Bryan Gilmore and Wes Welker?

I am rooting for Newson to finally get over the injury hump and showcase the skills he had earlier in the Preseason the last two years before each injury.

I am glad they are not giving us any respect....we will show them this year and next how good we are.

chambers has great speed, marty is catch and go type, derrius is simply possession red-zone situations, and then we have boston who if healthy is said to be top 10 at least in the league, probably number 1 talking about talent wise! our recieving core is nice!!!!!!!!! with ricky and ronnie carring the load out of the back field dont worry we could have wes, gilmore, and davis catching passes and still be set. Well i wont go that far but i will say that we are in a good state right now compared to last year! I dont think that there was an article either!

I take this personal and I am greatly offended by that moronic statement about our WR corps. Can someone give me the e-mail of the smart guy who wrote this article..I got a few word for him..

Did Booker and Boston made the Pro bowl allready?

I guess Givens,Terrel and Branch are better than Chambers,Boston and Booker
