CBS Sports: Scramble for the final seed

If we can get that 6th seed and get matched up against the colts we would have a chance for a playoff victory......Then play Denver, Manning like to choke in big games and then a 3rd match up against the Pats or a 2nd against Cincy......getting to the Super Bowl is not out of the question, just have to get to the tournament

It will be a horribly tough road if we do get in, but not impossible (crazier things have happened).....just expect the trendy you have to be crazy or :bobdole: from some fans.....hey look there is one already. LOL
 
Can we PLEASE worry about beating the Steelers????
 
One game at a time guys. Let's not fall into the same trap we did back when we started 3-0. We all know how that turned out.

Oh god, if we had to play Denver it would be so f***ing ugly.

Exactly. We could easily lose to the Bills and likely to the Pats. I'm as homer as almost anyone but we'd need a miracle.

Why? It's not like were the ones that need to be preparing! I'm not gonna play in that game. As for the playoffs, as long as we don't play at home we have a shot!

We need to win 3 of the last 4 and hope for Baltimore to go 2-2 or Cinci 1-3.

If the Bengals lose to the Colts this week, I could see them going 1-3 with losses to Indy, Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

In the end we just need to win 2 of the next 3 so we can go into week 17 with a "win and you're in" scenario against the Jets.

ETA: If we beat the Steelers that would practically eliminate them from the playoffs. So it's very important we get that W.

Thank You we are not playing, we are fans, we get to dream, if we don't get our licks in now we may never get the chance only one team wins it all ......its ok to dream people lets have fun with it before it ends and if it doesn't end let's enjoy the ride........
 
Pats are beatable, lets not write that off as an auto L. We played one good half vs them this year in their house. This time we hopefully play two. This Steelers game is the set up though. Win there, gain momentum, pump up fans to show up on the 15th....we have a legit shot.

Playoffs for this team would be huge. Young team, many new to each other this season, Martina drama, and some key injuries could have set them back. They fact they are still going out and playing good football is encouraging.
 
we have to beat the steelers, split with the bills and pats, and sweep the jets. we can only afford one more loss before you toss this season out the window.
 
I don't get everyone here believing that it's gonna take a miracle for us to get in. Somebody in the AFC is gonna make that miracle happen, and right now the only team that has positioned itself better than us has a more difficult schedule remaining. I don't believe we will go 4-0 over the last 4 games. I can't say that the Ravens won't go 4-0 or that some lucky 5-7 team will run the table and hold tiebreakers. Why should we assume that teams who have had it as bad or worse than us are going to do better?

This "miracle" is not only attainable for someone, it is a statistical certainty that we will see a team who is .500 or worse right now get the 6th seed.
