I believe Center to be the #1 priority of the off season:

1) My first inclination would be to pursue Jason Brown (Balto.) a young Proven Bull with no down side. It would be a pricey but needed fix to the offensive line.

Guards we don't need & our BookEnds are set: returning starters Thomas & Justin Smiley are on the mend & expected to return in time for training camp.
Satele will compete (@ both G & C) for a start w/Alleman & the MurphyProject also in contention. Satele has tremendous versatiliy having played LG & LT in college & having proven himself as a Pulling Guard in the WildCat. We're fixed @ the Tight End positon.

2) If not Jason Brown then I think we go to the draft. I like Alex Mack (Ca), Max Unger (Or) & Edwin Williams (Md)

What do you think?

I don't think that the FO is as concerned about Satele as you are. Even if they are, moving him to guard will not be moving him to a need spot but instead putting him at a spot where we have 2 good players already.
At Guard we have Justin Smiley and Donald Thomas. I think we may try and shop Satele to other teams and see if we can't get any picks.

i heard that they openly said they want to look deep into C. Jason Brown has to be a phin. IMO. it frees up our draft soo much more. but i love make but not as much as Brown.

J.Brown would be huge for us and A.Mack would be a great second option aswell. People that don't agree with changing Satele because they believe in his talent should also understand improving talent is never a bad thing especially on the Oline.

why would someone trade for satele if they let jason brown get out of free agency there selves..

I dont think C is our biggest concern at all... We have Satele in place and there are too many other questions left unanswered at the moment... what happens to the FA's that we are trying to resign? Its all well and good to wish for other teams FA's but we cant rely on anything... the closer to the draft we get the clearer everything will become...

Having said that I would like the team to invest in a top corner... I am tired of watching certain recivers burn us time and time again...

He could be a better fit for their system. A zone block scheme like Denver had would be great for him. That being said, I like Satele. The torn labrum could explain a lot as he started the season off great.

Your right it's not the biggest concern but it will make one of the biggest impacts on the offense. Improving the Center position helps our depth aswell, making it easier to run up the doesn't hurt either.

The better our pass rush the better our Corner play, that being said if A.Smith or S.Smith are available at our first 2nd round pick I think that's our selection.

With Bill Parcells ( & without him ) it all begins in the trenches, I firmly believe now that Bookends are in place, our priority is @ Center

I heard Brown wants to be the highest paid C... The C from the bucks is the highest at 6 year/37 mil

Personally, if the money is right (I don't mean cheap, I mean fair) getting Brown here and keeping Satele is a no brainer. Satele is a nice option at guard as it's pretty obvious Smiley won't complete 16 games. Murphy, Smiley, Thomas, Satele is a deep, talented guard rotation. There's great potential to develop three of those guys, who are all on rookie contracts which I know Ireland values.

Brown is young and proven. With Long, Carey and Brown we have three fifths of a completed championship calibre line. The likelihood of Thomas / Satele / Murphy and/or a second day rookie from '09 completing that list over the next 18-24 months is extremely high.

Center is not our biggest concern(priority). As of right now we are missing 1 Starting CB, 2 Starting Safeties, 1 starting ILB.

I would call that bigges concern 1st. Lets figure out whom we are going to resign or pick up to fill those rolls, then we can start worry about upgrading talent.

Love this time year, I almost enjoy it as much as the season. From the combine to Preaseason Game 1 its alot of fun for me.
