Do any of you guys know whatever happened to C Jason Ball(SD).Was his ankle(I believe) injury career ending? Is Rex Hadnot going to see anytime at Center? Still hoping that Seth isn't going to be our starter.

yeah I remember that Nub, but was his injury real serious. Just thinking that since Hudson's here he might want to bring him in for a look during TC.Jason played well in SD if i remember correctly.

I believe he failed his physical with us right after we claimed him off waivers. Was released a few days later.

I think Wade Smith will win the battle and Seth will be the back ip IMo don't forget there's also Rex
My money is on Rex that he is the starting center on opening day. Seth can say all he wants, in my book he is on the outside looking in.

The only thing with that is, that many people think that Rex Hadnot is a perfect guard and his abilities are not conducive to the center position.

Personally, I don't care where he starts, just as long as he kicks some major @ss.

I see what you are saying. I think Houck will try a lot of different looks to see what he has got. I like Rex, and if he doesn't start at center, I hope he gets the guard spot. When was the last time we had an offensive line that was nasty?

I'm rooting for Hadnot to be in the starting lineup whether it's at C or RG. If you really break this down, the TOTAL amount of possible options would be... Seth McKinney, Wade Smith, Rex Hadnot AND I suppose John St. Clair. My guess is out of those 4 only 1 will be starting on our O-line... POSSIBLY 2. My question is... How do Wade Smith and John St. Clair (assuming it's a possibility that he could get moved to C) rank up to Seth McKinney?

John St. Clair is not getting moved to center. I don't see what the obsession around here is with him playing center.

Yes, he was an accompolished center in college. That being said, don't you think someone...ANYONE would have tried him at center at least once in his NFL career?

Seth McKinney will be the starting center opening day I.M.O.

The thing I would like to know...I asked this in another thread...can St. Clair play guard? He was alright last year and I'd like to see him play but I think McDougle is gonna win the right tackle spot. Maybe St. Clair could push someone (James, Hadnot) for a starting spot at guard.

I believe Hadnot has the best chance to be our starting Center. As for Wade Smith, who knows where he will end up?
