Chad Henne Buzz Starts to Build

dude that is a beautiful *** u have there in ur avatar wow just wow the things i would do.

now to henne the dudes got an arm and he looked poised and under control when he was in the huddle, but lets not get ahead of ourselves here. this team is going nowhere this year and he might as well learn under a vet then to through him in the lions den. look it worked Aaron Rodgers and Tony Romo so lets give this dude some time before we destroy his confidence. Even though he doesnt look like he can be rattled very easily and the proof is in the pudding when he lots mike hart at michigan. dudes a baller but let him ride the pine for a year so maturity can set in and he can have a complete understanding of the playbook so he can react rather than doing what he is told.

You know Farve looked less than average against the pats. He had more time with the
Jets O than Chad. It will take some time.

i agree with the Buffalo dude....Chad will take some time....i dont mind him using the TE's as long as it moves the chains but the crux of the Dolphins offense is supposed to be running the ball...they are not....running the ball will open up the passing game a tad...just enough for Penne to do his thing and hit open recievers-

The fuunny thingg to me is that all the nay sayers compained that hennes drive was in garbage time and the cardinals stopped playing but in reality it took 6 plays from inside th 5 to score and the cardinals weren't letting down. Henne showed more then beck has ever shown. Henne reminds me of ben rothlis in every faze, he can even pass for his twin brother. I was all for pennington but his weak arm and limited playbook is not getting it done. If we won I could care less about our vanilla dink and dunk offense but we are losing and playing from behind every game so I want to see them open it up. Everytime we go deep there is always a safety helping out the corner ala wilford last game and ginn in game one. What do we have to lose by opening up the playbook. If we lose I see no reason not to put henne in. If we can get him used to the game for next year it will help a lot. Its not like our o line is garbage and our backs are good blockers as well. If we cansee improvement in henne and we can lure either roy wiLliams or tj down here, we'll be in business

If you check my post, you'll see that I suggested Henne should sit for a year, so what's your point?

I think Henne would benefit from sitting a year and:

1. Learning in practice and in the film room
2. Being mentored by Pennington
3. Being in an NFL conditioning program
4. Starting when the O'line is more seasoned and healthy
5. Letting Parcells tweak the franchise one more time
6. Having better wide receivers through FA and/or the draft
7. Having a better defense next year
8. Having a HC that has a year of experience
9. Not being associated with this season

Do you know at all if Rodgers went to GB and Favre was done that year that he wouldn't be doing close to the same thing after a year or two starting.

T.Romo was an undrafted rookie, there's a big difference in the situations. Henne comes from a big time program playing 4 years in 3/4 huge games a year and he started there as a rookie as well.

I just really believe if he's an NFL QB he'll be able to play right away (and make mistakes but learn from them) and if he's not 1 or 2 years on the pines won't do anything for him or us because were just prolonging the inevitable.

Beck to me is a player that was not able to handle the jump from college to the pro's and should not be the reason to shy away from playing Henne. Guys like Cutler and Edwards should be the reasons why we start Henne.
