The reason I say this even though I know he didn't have the best game today he managed it well and DID NOT TURN THE BALL OVER!!!!!! How great is it that he made smart decisions with the football and even had to run a couple times rather than force it. That is the most important thing for me. I know he didn't wow anyone with a 300 yd game or 3/4 TD's but I'd rather win like the way we won then win 24-21 with Henne having thrown for 30-42 360yds 3 TD's and 3 Ints. He looked calm and certain with his throws no huge errors out there today. What do you think?

Im very happy with Henne. I feel like we finally have a competitive football team. The D is starting to GEL. The o line looks pretty good... At least run blocking. Henne can be successful in our run first offense if the D plays well... look at the ravens. I just wish the Tight ends would step up and get open for Henne. TEs are the qbs best friends

I will have to wait and see. We never seen the cannon arm that he is suppose to have.

As our own V.P. of Football Operations once said about a certain QB in Dallas who just lost to Denver said: "Let's not break out the anointing oils."

Yes, Henne looked good in his first start. I saw poise, I saw leadership, and I saw a nice live arm. The best part of it all? 0 TURNOVERS by the QB. Be happy with today, but the story is not fully written. Again, be HAPPY with today!

The tools are there for him to be an excellent QB, but he's got some things to work on. Pocket awareness being the biggest knock....

I thought he had a decent game, but it certainly isn't going to get any easier as 2 of his next 3 games will be against the Jets.

I liked some things, I didn't like some others. Certainly way too soon to tell.

Some numbers nerd will post up some numbers from the first games by some all time great quarterbacks, and you will see some had some pretty horrible games. Henne did well not turning the ball over, taking sacks, playing smart. He will be a good one. I really like the calls throwing down the field. Even though his completion percent will not be high, that opened up the running game and changed the way defenses will play us compared to game planning against a Pennington-led team. The Dolphins are a better team with Henne, growing pains and all.

He actually showed more mobility than I thought he had....I wouldn't annoint him anything yuet, but at the same time I'm not going to kill him if he doesn't look good against the jets.

Has off passes could have only been caught by the WR, that alone is excellent to see. When plays weren't there he either ran or ate the play, great for his first start. I never saw him stare down a Receiver and only the Cam pass in the end zone should have been lead outside shoulder. That's pretty fantastic if you ask me. VC needs to up his pass pro, he got smoked a few times badly, overall a great run game helps everyone out and we have two excellent Runningbacks with a real good FB.
Congrats to Henne and the Phins.

P.S. Who keeps the ball....Henne's first TD pass, Hartline's first TD catch?

Played good today offense needs to protect him more, but for his first game pretty good!
