"I can rip this arm off," Henne said of his left arm on Sunday. "As long as I can post the ball up I think I can play."

Henne left the locker room with his left shoulder in a sling. Henne said he's played with an injured shoulder during his high school and college career and with the Dolphins' bye week has two weeks to recover.

"I've done it before," he said. "I expect to do it. Put me in the shotgun. I've played through it and expect to play through it again."

[h=2]"Chad Henne says he can play with a hurt shoulder"[/h]kinda like the kid who's asks the doctor if he'll be able to play piano when the cast comes off his hand.
doc tells him it shouldn't be a problem.
"GREAT! cuz i never could before..."

Its not like he hasnt played bad enough, now he wants to play worse. lol

He needs to realize that he is injured not just hurt. Shut it down, and let the bad football continue.

You be a warrior chad henne. go out there and help us suck for luck.

If he's played with a hurt shoulder before, maybe that was what happened in 2010.

don't quit your day job

The one thing we can't besides his arm strength is his toughness. The guy gives it all he's got no matter if he's hurt or not and you have to respect that.

He can't really play without a hurt shoulder. I would hate to see how much worse it would get with him playing hurt.

His comments to me sound like a guy who knows his last chance is evaporating and he's trying to do whatever he can to prevent the inevitable.

No, it sounds like a player that gives his everything for this team. Sadly, neither the team (at least the front office) nor the fans appreciate it enough.

Atta boy, Chad. But it's not worth it. He shouldn't ruin his career or his body for a fanbase that just doesn't value him. He'll find greener pastures elsewhere.

Meanwhile, ride the bench and let Moore show just how a replacement QB does with this OL.
