So I've lost some money on this game which is understandable since I ALWAYS lose when I bet with my heart but, Henne didnt play as poorly as some people on here seem to think so Im not as upset. Out of 19 throws, he made 2 or 3 bad throws maximum. I think its funny how some finheaven GM's are annointing him a bust already. The guy is esentially a rookie. Yes, I know he played for a half last year vs Arizona so this would be his second game. Playing in a game is way more different than standing around and watching. I even think I might pick him up in my fantasy league since Mcnabb is hurt! Am I still drunk? I cant believe how bad our Wr's played with the exception of Bess and Camarillo. It looked like they werent used to his throws being there in such a hurry! Arent these guys PAID to catch the ball? Ridiculous. Whatever Im drunk I dont care if you dont agree so post why if you disagree

Henne will need to learn the speed of the game. It will take time. He has tools.

Henne has all the tools to be a good quality nfl quarterback, he just needs to gain some experience. Look at Sanchez he looked awful in the pre-season, but now he's improving each and every week.

As Aikman said, the only way to learn is to put the rookies out there and let them learn from real games.

Another is Matt Stafford. I have watched all three of the Lions games has he is improving in all aspects of the game. Heen was a little shaky to start but looked good after the first couple of series. He tried to look back (no easy feat) and threw the pick 6. Ginn droppped a ball that him in the chest and he had a couple of bad throws. If Pennington is done, I think you'll see improvement through the season from Henne.

On a side note, if Pennington is done, I would love to see the Dolphins promote David Lee to OC and install Pennington as a QB coach.

I see Henne having some problems

although on the bright side we are running the ball pretty well

now that Henne is in they might try stretching the field a bit

taking that eighth man out of the box and giving Ronnie (on pace for about 1400 yards i know a bit early lol) and Ricky (900 yards) some more room to work with

I suggest that we should look at this in the most positive way we can or then we will all go crazy

I know we can b*t*h and complain about all the things that are going wrong ,but come on that wont make us 3-0

we get to see what Henne has and if he is really the future

Ronnie and Ricky will get more touches

it is gut-check time to see how mentally tough this team is

Ginn will no longer have an excuse for not being looked at

they will open up the playbook a bit more (maybe not more plays but more than likely bigger plays)

Henne will have a chance to take over the leader role (this could be the most important thing)

He telegraphs where he is going to throw every time. It was ridiculous. On one play, Chinne stepped right into the sack. At least White may have made something happen on the ground if we put him in.

i think henne will be a very good QB as the season gose on and he gets more playing time and gets insink with our recivers and if the OL starts to gel together henne will be lighting it up before the season is out cause ive seen alot of potencial in the kid and will be a very good QB for us for years to come just needs some time with the first team and start spreading the offence out :hi5:

on that pick 6 he looked one way and came back to the reciver on the other side of the field but just didnt see th cb sneaking up or the wr ran an outside route instead of coming inside but he will start looking the field over not like he did in college cause our QBS coach will help him and get him doing the right thing imo he will be ok after he gets some playing time

Where are the Henne Haters??
Right here. I have to admit he made a huge jump in two weeks. I want to see if he can keep it up for a few weeks before I get my hopes up, but, if that is the case, I am very happy to be wrong.

He played alot better than I thought. He showed he can make all the throws and lead his team at the end of the game. Lets hope he keeps it up

I was impressed with the improvement in Henne's accuracy from SD to Buffalo to NYJ. Dang, some of those passes were frickin laser beams. The long pass to Ginn dropped into his chest like it was a smart bomb. If Teddy had dropped that perfect ball he wouldn't have gotten out of the stadium alive. CSI Miami would have had to try and find his body parts.
