i see alot of guys saying that Henne isn't mobile....can he make a 40 yard run for a touchdown NO BY NO MEANS but the elite Qb's in the league Palmer, Manning/s, Brady, Hasselback are pocket passers. They all do one thing well they have great footwork they can move around in the pocket and throw on the run. A move as simple as stepping up in the pocket to avoid the rush or moving to your left or right a few steps can give you and your receivers that extra second or two to beat/read coverage and Henne can do that pretty well. The league seems to be shifting out of that super athletic but not very good QB mode that Vick started and back to a tall pocket passer mode so though he may never have flashy long runs he will stand tall has good footwork and delivers the ball on target whether he is gonna take a shot or not. I take a thinking QB who is a student of the game who is willing to learn and work on things over a guy who just scrambles and tries to be all flashy. I see Henne getting to camp and getting right to work and may the WAR begin.

well look at how mobile dan marino was...if you have a good offensive line you dont have to be that mobile

After watching Henne almost every weekend my opinion is he doesnt do anything great. He is not fast, not the most accurate and wont have the strongest arm. That is why most of the comments about Henne are they like his toughness and he has a good head. He may turn into a good NFL QB but it will take a lot of coaching and time.

I don't see Tom Brady possessing sprinters speed or showing the elusive quality of a Michael Vick.. yea,. who wouldn't want that immobile QB on your roster..

That's exactly what they said about Tom Brady when he was at Michigan.

I knew it wouldn't be long before the Henne accounts started popping up.

I can't believe its allready Monday and Chad has not been named the starter.

I agree with you. Im just saying its going to take some time. People are dreaming if they think Henne will be ready to start this year.

I don't think Henne's mobility is a problem. Some people have issues with his mechanics, which is a much more serious problem. If you buy that argument, that is.

Guys stop with the Henne stuff. He deserves to be on a first name basis. For now on please refer to our franchise QB as Chad or Chad Da MAN!
