Chad Johnson is a funny dude, and baller in practice

I actually thought it was great. Coach is setting his boundries. He has to. He's letting everyone on the team know that there will be consiquences for their actions. But Philbin does it in a way that's not demeening to the player. Each player now knows that if they don't conform to the teams guidlines and expectations, they will be gone. With guys like Philbin on the staff, I can see how Green Bay was able to have the success that they've had.
I get where Philibin's coming from. Last night I was watching Hard Knocks with my 9 year old son. I had to mute Chad Johnson's press conference....just sayin'.

I agree, while the press conference was funny, it doesn't really paint the team in a good light. Don't think Philbin has a problem with Chad being Chad, but there is a time and place for everything and in front of the press is not the time to play pottymouth

Gonna try and steer us back to topic...

Chad entering the conference made me a little uncomfortable - but I do think the situation was somewhat staged for the cameras. As far as Philbin's "he either needs to fall in line or not" and the "'do you think his attitude could keep him off this team', 'absolutely'" (paraphrased), we have to bear in mind that Hard Knocks has the agenda of keeping an audience interested, and these episodes are somewhat editorialized. A lot of those kind of lines often come from a field producer's prompt question. I say that having worked on reality TV crews.

All in all I was pleased to get an inside look at the team interactions of some incredibly talented guys about whom I read every day. That is ****ing cool.

Yeah, and I just loved when he walked into that meeting uninvited and just wasted a few minutes of everyone's time...that was great!...NOT.

That was completely unprofessional. His antics are disrupting the team...whether the folks here admit it or not.

IMO that looked edited or a predetermined interruption that set up to introduce chad to hard knocks.
