Chad Pennington in Miami Good Fit! read all of the naysayers!!!LOL

I would personally like to see Chad Pennington in Miami next season (IF HEALTHY). He has always been very accurate (see career completion %) and has the ability to lead a team!! now understand when i say lead a team i dont mean be a good locker room guy or be a good community guy i mean be a GREAT on the field QB! we have not seen a QB take our team by the reins and take charge since #13 did it and i want a QB who can do that!!! and i think Chad can still do it. I would like to know what everyone else thinks.
 
No chance in hell. Pennington is DONE. Why, when we're purging the team of washed up, has-been players, would we EVER bring in Pennington? His arm is one of the weakest in the NFL...which is probably why his accuracy is good...cause he only can throw short. Pennington would be horrible to bring in, and expect him to be a great, on the field starting QB.
 
I dont think chad had any choice of who he played with and i still remember that noodle arm beating the hell out of us please dont question my fanhood im just looking at good possibilities and i always thought chad could do much better somewhere else!
 
I think he can't stay healthy. 2006 was the first and only year he actually played all 16 games. He's not really been "great". In spite of a 68% completion last year, he threw 10 TDs to 9 INTs.
Plus, it would take a trade to get him here. He's under contract.
 
Hated him for so long. I have heard this though so it's not quite as shocking. He's a "Parcells guy" for sure. No way he makes the team with that thing he calls an arm. But, stranger things have happened. Rex Grossman did start a super bowl :sidelol:
