Both of these guys are showing that if you throw them the ball they can make things happen. Chambers has had his issues this season, but what better season to get that taken care of. Chambers is starting to believe in himself, and that was the biggest problem. Every week the offense looks more and more fluent, and more confident in each other. Booker is the perfect # 2 guy. He makes plays when we need him to. He's a deep threat, and he fights for the ball every play. IMO Welker is the perfect third back. Sure hands, knows how to get open, and is fast. I could see how the Saban and company might want a bigger third WR.

The disappointments for me have been Gibson, Gilmore, and Mann. It would be nice to pick up some WR this off season. No first day draft picks but I'd like to see a second day grab. We pay good money to Chambers and Booker, so I don't want another high priced free agent. If we could find a free agent or two that won't break the bank but have potential then definitely.

Mann has done nothing wrong I hope he recieves a few chances next year on the field he looked good in Pre-season!

I agree. Chambers and Booker compliment each other. Now Id go sign Doug Gabriel as the third and make Welker the 4th. Gabriel can fly and is from Fla.and would fit our budget nicely. Gilmore just cant catch.

Welker's going to be the slot guy no matter what. He makes plays week in week out. What we need is a PURE speed guy to stretch the field like Boston did on a few plays this year. Chambers is awful fast, but I'm talking about somebody more like a Santana Moss in terms of speed and route-running style.

why does it matter that he is from Florida?

Reggie Wayne went to UM so id rather have him here if thats the logic

We need to bring a quality receiver for the third spot that will seriously push Chambers, and Booker. Whether it's a free agent or a draft pick, we need a higher quality 3rd receiver who will put fear in opposing defenses when we go with a three wide receiver set.

Boston might be back..... :couch:

I could see him signing another one year deal with some incentives... Bring him into camp and just see what he can do. If it dosnt look like the knee is going to hold up just cut him loos at the end of camp.

I think that is extra icing on the cake but we need to bring in another good quality receiver to use as a back up in case of injury, and someone who can help spread defenses out with some speed.

I cant argue with that. His knee is too much of a question to go into the season relying on him to be a signifigant contributor. It would be a situation of signing a guy in the hope that he breaks out and gives you more than you hoped for.

That would be a great problem if we had too many good wide receivers.

Boston hasn't impressed me at all. I think he's physically and mentally spent. Boston looks scared going for the ball, I saw no fight in him. It did look like some of the speed had returned, but it doesn't look like he has the brass anymore, and his knee blew up after every game.

Chambers is perferct #1 no doubt but Booker has not proved himself enough, even though we dont have a QB to get him the ball he needs to step it up. I say we cut him and possibly Gimore and either draft someone or pick up a nice 2nd WR. Brandon Llyod would be perfect but i think he'll stay in San Fran, so IMO is say we get rid of Booker

CC has the potential to be a perfect #1, as long as he cleans up his
big drops. Other than his drops, he fits the bill.

He seems to have turned the corner, but, I've seen too many balls bounce off his hands to be sold totally.

Hopefully he furfills his talent, which is 11-1300 yards annually.

He's GOT to concentrate, though.
