Who are we gonna line up as a third receiver this week gainst the bucs?

Boston may play (health status?, practice reps?), but Welker is doing a heck of a job inside, especially on 3rd downs.

Could we see Boston on 1st and 2nd and Welker on thirds? If so, we better utilize Boston, or I'd rather have Welker out there all the time. Sooner or later, a LB is gonna be covering Boston leaving a DB for Brown or R.Williams. I was being a little sarcastic there, but you never know. :D

I say you get Welker in there, as well as Gilmore, and let them have at it!

Wes should get reps as our main slot guy, then Gilmore and Boston. Boston has done nothing to deserve a starting slot role at all yet.

Boston has had very few opportunities too, though. I think Boston should play the third receiver spot some for a couple more games and if he doesn't do anything, then have Welker or Gilmore take the job for the rest of the season.

You need to prove you are worth a spot before you're just given it. The guy is injury prone like whoa. I sure wish he wasn't.

Gilmore has always been a little intriguing.
I'd like to see what he could do on a reg. basis.

How do you prove you are worth the spot, if you've had very few opportunies. He's not being given the job, I would like Miami to try Boston, Welker and Gilmore a couple times in the games for the next couple weeks, and judge from there. It's trying the players out. Then one of the three would then earn the job.

Well, Saban's all about putting guys in that he knows can give the team the best chance of winning. Right now, it's Welker and Gilmore.

I would like to see Boston have a few more tries though, because he's a very talented receiver.

He was, we don't know that know. All we know is he's injury prone and has been a ghost on the field this year.

Let me ask you this, if you were Welker and you had been playing like he has this season, would you be happy knowing your coach was going to sub someone in for you who hasn't caught one ball this season?

He's gotten open on the deep throws, the ball was off target each time.

Bad luck? Still, it doesn't mean Welker and Gilmore should lose snaps. If he was so good he would've adjusted to the throw.
