Frerotte has compared CC to Moss!!! He says that he can do the same things as Moss. "We had an 84there (Moss), but we've got an 84 here who can do the same stuff,""He's a special player." Sun-Sentinel

I have felt that way for a long time. CC has just never been in an offense that will allow him to showcase his talents'. The guy put's up the best #'s he can w/ what he was working with. He makes more spectacular catches per attempt than anybody it seems like. I hope Gus or A.J can get that ball to him when he is open and in stride, something the last guy was unable to do!

With Booker, Boston, McMike, and Thompson (not all at the same time of course) on the field, you can't afford to double him. Throw in RW or Gordon and hopefully Ronnie sooner rather than later. This will be a clone of Minnesota's offense, maybe even more effective(not that we will score more), I just believe that the ball control will be better, by not leaving the D on the field like in the past here and in Minny, that will help all phases of the game.

CC should post his first 1000 yd season (my guess is 1300yds12-14tds). Unless the ball is spread all over. Which is alright if that is effective. The #'s are really pointless if he is drawing attention and allowing others to make big plays as Moss did in many games. Even in games when Moss was shut down, he opened it up for the other WRs' and the running game. This will be a fun year to be a Fin's Fan!

Right ON!!

WOW! It's so nice to here such Optimism... I feel exactly the same in reference to Chambers.

I also think that AJ has the physical tools to be a really good quarterback... He has a quick release and strong arm, just needs work on touch passes, he has that throw like a Marino or Favre if he can add accuracy I could see him get some good numbers! :)

I feel that it will be Gus starting early in the season and if AJ can improve on accuracy and not locking on to a WR then he will step in and finish the season. Either way CC wil be the best we have seen him. Both Qb's are an upgrade and will help not only CC but the entire offense.

Carter has compared CC to Moss for a couple years now! That has to be a real compliment in CC's eyes, to be compared by one of the best ever, to what could be one of the best ever, and definetly the most dangerous ever. If CC can do what Moss does, he will go down in Dolphins' lore right next to Dan!

Every year we all say it's CC's breakout year.... I hate to be a pessimist but I'll believe it when I see it.... I know that Wannys system didn;t make for great WR's but he still disappointed me with his numbers..... I hope you guys are right and he does break out..

Carter also said that CC has some of the best hands he has seen. Carter also said that Orande had the best hand s he ever saw! Ohhh to have the big OG back! Those endzone fades were unstopable!!!

I wish he would come begging for a tryout for Saban.

Like I said, if the offense is real effective and the ball get's spread all over, that will hurt his #'s. I do believe we will pound the ball plenty, but there will be some huge air games in store. Regardless of #'s if he put's up big YPC and TDs' I could care less about yardage. I would take an 800 yard guy w/ 16 tds' over a 1400 yd guy and 4 tds'. I know that the circumstances could really determine who was better, one got the ball down there and the other got the glory. But we all know CC can do both and he will. I just hope that everyone stays healthy and we will be potent. I feel like Boston could steal some light if he can stay healthy and return to his early playing form.

Hulkfish, I like that name and your avatar, welcome aboard. I agree with your post also..good call, even though I'm bais when it comes to AJ.

It would be great to see Chambers put up a huge year, maybe even a Pro Bowl year.

But at the same time, we have so much potential talent on offense that it would be disappointing to see some other players not do much. I don't think it's possible to see Chambers have a Pro Bowl year but have Boston, Booker, McMichael, Ricky, and Ronnie have amazing years as well. They're going to have to share the ball.

I agree

I agree. I think Chambers has the talent to be a top tier receiver, but as of yet, has not proven it. While Chambers has made some outstanding plays, he is not consistant enough to be included in the top level. Was it the system? I hope so. No execuses this year. Even those who complain we do not have a good QB, look at some of the other receivers around the league who put up huge numbers without a star QB (ie Boldin, Boston pre injury, Booker in Chicago, etc)

Time for Chambers to Crank it up a Notch in the 1000+ yard area.

Can't wait for it to happen!!! GO DOLPHINS

You guys read into this way too much.

First of all, there is no other Moss in the league. Moss is a physical freak and mentally a freak.

Second, what do you expect your QB to say, that Chambers is horrible?

I agree that Chambers is a good receiver, but is he a Moss? No, but 99% of the players in the league arent either.

The only thing Chambers has on Moss is he isn't a *******.

What i really am getting excited about is the possibility of use more 3 wide reciever formations, and i dont know exactly how they will line up but i would LOVE to see Boston and Booker on the outside with CC being covered by some 3rd corner or linebacker, then throw in McMike, and RW and RB recieving abilities this could be a very fun offence. but the thing i am hoping for the more is Boston returning to form casue then we will have 2 AWESOME recievers (CC and BOSTON) and a very good one (Booker) dont forget booker had a 100 and a 97 catch season both for 0er 1000 yards, before he got hurt in 2003 and you know what kind of offense they had in chicago

I think Gus may still be feeling the effects of his "head butt" incident.

Chambers is an excellent receiver, probably top 10, but he isnt Moss.

Gus also stated that this years passing attack was going to be like the Dolphins with Marino in the '80s. (actually I think he meant the passing attempts....not necessarily the completions)

Methinks Gus is due another CAT scan.
