This guy is so open all the time. He has the best body positioning an sideline footwork since Cris Carter in his prime. His speed is very underrated as well. He has all the tools and no QB to get him the ball. Lets be glad he hasnt gone TO on us and left town for a better QB just to get the numbers that would more accurately reflect his talent. I actually wish we had Jeff Garcia. With the play action that comes available due to Ronnie Brown being a beast there is no reason Chambers shouldnt have top 5 numbers at WR in the whole league. Just get some better linemen and a QB and this offense could score tons of points on anyone. With Chambers, McMichael, and Brown as 3 of your skill position players you are all set there. Ive heard for years that we need a burner at WR. I think we have him. Only problem is he dosent get a chance to prove it with numbers. His play proves it to me. The idiots in the media need those stats to realize someone is great though. If youre a QB its championships. Dosent make since but thats how they see it.

He needs to hold on to the ball if he wants good recognition.

Chambers was open like 10 times today where he just didn't get the ball.

In my mind he has went from underrated to overrated he is our third best receiver right now.

Do you honestly think Booker is better? Booker doesn't show any heart of passion for the game to me. If the play isn't called for him, he looks like he's just out there to be out there. The only thing he has on Chambers is his route running and ability to find the soft spots in the defense.

Sorry, but if anybody thinks Wes Welker is a better receiver than Chris Chambers, you don't know a damn thing about football. Welker is a #3 WR who often gets covered by a safety or linebacker, or even a nickel/dime back who isn't nearly as good as Patrick Surtain. Give Welker Chambers' responsibility and he'd average about 8 yards a catch, if even that. What a joke some of you are when it comes to Wes Welker...

This is the kind of thing that is amazing, a week ago we were calling him out, he makes one play and he is awesome, he does not have that play, and everyone complains about him dissappearing in games. PERSPECTIVE please.

^yeah, old timers know that 2P is a Jamaican/black dude & DD28 is the white homie...so it's okay, no need for people to start like 50 complaint threads on DD28. It's not like his name is Gus Frerrotte.

And we agree on everything. If every poster was like us, the whole board would understand that it takes TIME to build a franchise into a champion.

...and Nick Saban is the man to do it.

I do know a little about football and if Chambers is so great then why don't he show it the excuse about the QB is somewhat valid but the other receivers on his team is outperforming and corners are shutting him down I like Chambers and I used to think he was a top 3 WR in the league but know I'm starting to believe his crictics this is just one opinion I hope he proves me wrong.

who is out performing him? Booker has less than him, and Welker is doing good, but he's a no.3 receiver playing against much less competition than Chambers had. Chambers made a nice 77 yard Td catch, 88 yards isn' too bad, the guy has been gettin wide opne many times, Gus is playing awful though. That's are not giving him justice, beause he was burning the bills all game and the bucs, only to be 15 yards over thrown or underthrown, the pass he didn't catch against the bucs was overthrown, I don't know how a wr can catch a ball by his fingernail.

here's a post of mine on a similar thread, just a short cut for me.

I would like Sage to start, he can't be any worse than the qbs that are already on the team, and I see a trend with him, for some reason the WRs make big plays when he's throwing the ball, I think it's becasue he is actually accurate, the ball is not 15 yards underthrown or overthrown and has a stronger arm than Fiedler, who knows how many TDs or ints he will/ or would throw, but if Gus has a another performance like tonight, I hope Sage starts. 77 yard pass to Chambers just like that, great throw and great catch, Gus couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. i remember last year, it must have to do with the qb. The last game Sage played, against Baltimore last year, one of the best D's in the league, and a great secondary. It wasn't like this was a game that wasn't important for the Rvens,it actually was very important, because they had to beat Miami to eve have a shot for the playoffs, they needed other teams to lose but they had to do their part and win, which they did. Chambers had one of his best games of the year against a defense as solid as the Ravens with 146 receiving yards, first play of the game a 76 yard pass nicely thrown where Chambers burns Gary Baxter. this game 77 yard play for TD, where the game was still not over.
