"It's great to have Daunte, you can't beat that," said Chambers, who had hoped that the former Pro Bowler would help him develop into an elite receiver. "But I think we would be a lot more efficient, we would have been able to execute a lot better (with Frerotte).

"We knew each other, we knew the way that Gus threw the ball. Gus trusted us on the outside, he knew our abilities, gave us a chance to make plays. We would probably be in a better position."

Maybe Chambers should be talking to Joey instead of the media and try to get that kind of a connection.
 
Nothing worse than players who point fingers. I'm embarrassed to have this going on in Miami. If the job isnt getting done and you know what the problem is, maybe you should consider telling someone who can fix it. Instead you break any sort of connection you have with your current QBs by calling them out in the media.
 
chambers makes soooooo many freaking excuses.....every year, every game hes got an excuse for something..... yet somehow its never his fault... cant stand that snitch

wow. I cant believe he said that to the media. You just trashed both of our QBs with that statement.
 
Chambers is an underachiever, I think he should be traded. He's best off as a 2 or in the slot. We could probably get a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him, too.
 
of course he will say that because he is having a shocking season so far and he had a stand out season last year it seems to be the same thing season after season with chambers no consistency
 
Chambers, with 28 receptions, is tied for 40th in the NFL. Some fans think he has not been adequately involved in the offense. But Miami quarterbacks have thrown to him 65 times, fifth in the AFC, according to STATS, LLC, a statistical service.
Asked if he was aware of the latter statistic, Chambers said, "That probably would surprise me a little bit. But how many actually touched my hands?"

another great snip from the article, i dont know if he remembers that its also part his job to get to the ball....or is that not what great receivers do...

dam cant stand a guy that finds excuses for himself to batch his teammates...at least have some freakin respect...especially wen your not stepping up

oo plz bro. are u kidding me? finally someone is speaking out the damn truth. we need a TO big mouth on our team and JT is the only one but always apologizes afte rhe blows up. did u watch DC throw? he was either AFRAID to throw the ball pass 10 yards or the coaching staff didnt trust him to do so b/c with Joey we throw it past 10 yards but thats about it. it is VERY obvious our QB's have no trust in THEMSELVES and in the WR's.

Gus frerrote was hated by many including myself but at least he didnt give a rats behind and just threw the darn ball carelessly as seen on his deep passes but at lesat he did what he believed in HIMSELF. he had too much confidence apparently as he said he will be the QB of this team next year when the last game was over but at least its better then having ZERO confidence. tahst what we are missing.

Problem is his points are quite VALID.

5 bloody co-ordinators, several QB's and they rarely ever move him around. No WR has had to deal with that EVER. Every team for years always try to create mismatches in the secondary with their best WR except for Miami outside of the last half of last season which he of course responded with his best stretch ever. So this season they don't.

There's all kinds of idiocy going on with this offense since the day Wanny took over and perhaps even a bit into the last couple years of Jimmy. Sad part is that if he was cut this offseason as a salary cap casulty teams would be all over Chambers and he'd probably florish.

agree 100%, chambers has neither.... and makes excuses..... at least wen jt talks he backs it up. Chambers is so talented, no doubt he has shown that he has the ability, but hes inconsistent....and as soon as hes not palying well he throws a loose excuse as to why. to begin with in the offseason he was saying how with culpepper hes now got a "real" quarterback .... and how things will be different blah blah blah.... to me that doesnt say he thought ferrot was a "real" quarterback..now shes back peddling and saying in an in a round about way how he would be better with ferrot. .....and thats what im trying to say....he never comes out and actually says something straight up....he says in a round about way...but doesnt seem to ever take fault or say it to someones face.

i never had a problem with chambers...even wehn he would play and he would miss catches he should have made.....whatever. but to be such a ballless person.....we dont need that crap in our team
