Chambers cold strak continues as he now drops to 3rd in recieving yards for miami and McMichael is only 30 yards behind him. is he really worth the money he is getting paid?? people are probibly going to say its just a stat but watch him play! he is bringing nothing to the offense this year so lets cut/trade him in the off season next year and bring in a playmaker via f/a or draft! we need someone who can make big plays all year round!

He could have probally at least 200 more yards if Joey didnt continuously miss him deep all season. He has gotten seperation down the field we just havent been able to connect.

I wouldnt mind another WR but I do think Chambers can be a #1

Not true. Chambers is struggling to get open and Harrington has tried several times to get the ball to him even when it means trying to force it to him. Chambers is not having a good season. To blame Harrington for Chambers' struggles is asinine. Chambers is not a #1 reciever. He has been in the league long enough to prove otherwise. Excuse time is over. Blaming everyone but Chambers is just a way to shield Chambers from criticism. I'm tired of it. Chambers is a #2. We NEED a #1. He had one good season. Great (#1) recievers are good even with sub-par QBs. A good example of that would be from today: Roy Williams is just shy of 1000 yards recieving with Jon Kitna at QB.
As for Harrington missing Chambers deep: Yes he has. But Chambers has dropped just as many passes.

As one of the biggest WI homers I've ever talked to said;

"You guys got a good one. He's greatenss on legs when he figgures out how to catch the easy ones."

Unfortunately, six years into his pro career, he has yet to figure it out.

There are tons of TD receptions receivers make that are like that. Reciever DO GET paid too. THOSE plays are why they get paid. A QB is supposed to be able to trust his recievers to actually make some plays from time to time. It isn't all on the QB.

there are tons of QBs that make great throws and give their recievers a chane to make plays that why they get paid.

You are all over it with this thread...I was watching the game today and thinking he is not a legit #1 reciever. Booker ...when he can actually stay healthy comes closer. I always think back to a big hit Chambers took early in his career ...Can't remember the team or who laid the smack down on him but I don't really think he has gotten over it. He seems to be playing scared and looking for the big hit to come.

That was against the Broncos, by their cheap hit artist, can't remember his name.

Does anyone realize how hard it is to truly come by a playmaker? Teams don't just let them go, where do you suggest getting one? Chambers compared to Moss is nothing special. Chambers matched up with his receiving core is something great. Either he has a big game, or the people around him do.
