Porto v Manchester United
Stuttgart v Chelsea
Real Sociedad v Lyon
Celta Vigo v Arsenal
Bayern Munich v Real Madrid
Deportivo v Juventus
Sparta Prague v AC Milan
Lokomotiv v Monaco

A lot of these matchups suck. The biggest match of all of these is Bayern Munich vs. Real Madrid, but Bayern has struggled lately and barely got into the second round. Stuttgart has played very well this year and they might pull off an upset against Chelsea but probably won't. They used to have a group stage at this point, but that got rid of it. The matches don't start until Feburary.

Real Madrid will win it all...I predict Celta Vigo to go to final 4, because the Argentinian National GK Pablo Cavallero is playing lights out.

Arsenal sucks in European competition but they will still beat Celta Vigo. The only reason why Celta Vigo is still in it is because they played AC Milan in their last game, and Milan benched a lot of their starters because they had already won the group, so Celta Vigo won the game against a Milan team not at full strength.

How about giving Cavallero his props? He had an outstanding game.

He might have played well, but it doesn't mean they will beat Arsenal. Celta Vigo got lucky with the scheduling since they were able to play AC Milan last who didn't play a full stength side. Celta Vigo is lucky that they got this far and they won't go any further.

Wow, you consider these matchups to suck? You have the current top 3 teams from England, the current top 2 teams from France, the current #2 and #3 teams from Italy, the current #2 and #3 teams from Germany, the current #1 and #3 teams from Spain, the current #1 team from Portugal, the current #2 team from Czech Republic. The current #3 team and most popular team from Russia. Celta and Real Sociedad are the only surprises.

I'm in a lost for words about your words. What is you definition of good matcups then? By the way, Europe is very happy with these matchups.

There matchups suck because they are all pretty predictable. Does anyone think Porto will beat Manchester United? And does anyone really care about Monaco vs. Lokomotiv? Does Sparta Prague have a chance against Milan?

Stuttgart/Chelsea could be interesting (Stuttgart has only lost 2 games all year, one against Manchester United and against Bayern Munich), but Chelsea will still probably win. All of these matchups are very predictable.

Bayern Munich/Real Madrid is a big matchup, but Bayern Munich barely got this far and have struggled this year.
