Agreed that his post will hurt him in the future. The guy worked his whole life for this opportunity and did not get the job. I hope he gets his opportunity some day

I already recounted the story of what was reported from some people who work inside Davie on another thread. See below:

Ross went by Champ's office + could be overheard saying:

"Ok, Ok Champ. Not the recommended reaction to not getting the job, but I get it. Actually, that brings up why I stopped by... Jon-Eric needs your office by this afternoon and we have decided to move your stuff down to that spare mechanical room in the basement. Wallace Jeebs, our Chief maintenance guy, you know him, is going to be waiting for you and will go over your new work schedule. Claire will stop by later for your laptop and she has 6 cases of pencils that need sharpened too."
 
Assuming this is a real post by him........I found it to be really sad

Clearly, this is someone who emotionally invested everything into this opportunity (whether he should have or not is whole different story) and is devastated by the decision. There is nothing to laugh at or enjoy here......

I do agree with the Sullivan hire and I am glad we went that direction. We need a change, and whether it is symbolic or real, it was necessary to start righting this ship

Champ was here as a temp. Has Sully fired him? Ross and the players liked Champ, I would bet they keep him on and one day he's up for the full gig elsewhere.
 
It’s perfectly fine to have the feelings that he had. It’s perfectly fine to post them on the Internet.

BUT - if you want to be viewed as a candidate for a professional position within a professional sports organization, you don’t do this. If I wanted to read something written by a jilted girlfriend, I’d go on Facebook.
 
I respect his open vulnerability and he’ll manifest something great from it, that said he should probably keep it in the family and pray on it instead of airing this, the way he did, publicly.
