I hope and pray that we DON'T make Chan Gailey as our next head coach. Do we want a conservative Wanny type offense?? We all remember what Gailey was like when he was our OC. He was like Kippy Brown. Run, run, short pass. Does that sound familiar?? That was Gailey's great offense.
 
I dont think there actually considering him, just an interview.

:tantrum:Not just Chan but Mora Jr. Why the hell would we want to even interview this guy?? So that when Washington his Alma Mader comes a calling in a couple years, he jumps ship. This would really make my stomach queezy.

No to Jim Mora Jr. and Chan Gailey!!!
 
They are just interviewing him and I think they are going to try and interview as many people as possible so that they do get the right coach this time.

stats...Miami does well when we RUN RUN RUN.....

stats...Miami receivers can actually do what their paid millions to do...CATCH....SHORT passes that it.

It scares me because he is good friends with Bryan Wiedemier apparently. If we select Gailey then we obviously did not look very hard and do a thorough search for the best candidate possible. We'd be just like we were under Wanny with Gailey as head coach.
 
Chan Gailey ran a decent offense, one that helped Jay Fiedler win 11 and 10 games year in and year out. I want Cam Cameron, so in now way do i wish we sign Gailey, but Gailey would at least have something offer this team unlike say...Jim Bates?
 
hmm, i seem to remember Chan Gailey being in charge of Georgia Tech's offense.

i also seem to remember about half of the board creaming their jeans over a certain Georgia Tech WR....becuase he can catch the deep ball.

enough said.
 
Yeah and Darrelle Revis is a top CB who will be a 1st round pick and he plays at Pitt for Wanny. Does that make Wanny a good candidate for us then?
 
People tend to let the hype influence their opinions. No matter who the name is, I just want the FO to interview a dozen coaches and pick the one they feel with more upside and not hype.

Last time we went with the hype we got a traitor.

all that i'm saying is that if everyone on the board knows he can catch the deep ball, then someone must have seen it be thrown to him and unless i'm mistaken Chan Gailey made the calls to throw it to him.
