Chances of signing C. Long improved

With the Jets stealing Calvin Pace from us, the chances of us getting C. Long with the #1 pick just improved. I have a question, does any think that C. Long is able to stand up in a 3-4? Everything thing that I've seen of him says that he can. Has he ever played OLB before? I know we're probably talking HS, but does he have any experience with it? I would like to be more confident knowing that if we're going to spend 30+ mil.(at least 15-20 guaranteed) that he is going to be able to handle the position.

By the way, I hope Pace was just a 1 yr. wonder and the Jets get screwed in that deal.:D

i think BP and Co will get him, he is a Parcells type of player

Yes I think it almost solidifies him as the #1 pick. With the depth of this tackle pool this year, I think it's best to go with Long (chris) #1 and then address tackle with the 2nd rd pick (either one). I think we need to go DE/OLB, T, and CB/S in that order.
