Seriously, what the hell was up with the coaching and playcalling today? It absolutely REEKED of wanny era play and strategies. And then to cap it all off the TEXANS of all teams beat us at the very thing we were trying to do!!
Seriously, short pass after short pass. After 3 quarters of it not working, youd think Mularkey and Saban would figure out IT WASNT WORKING!! It killed our best drive. First and goal, 2 short passes for nothing a 3yd run, field goal, loss. The Texans on the other hand KILLED us with that playstyle. Andre Johnson and Eric Moulds caught the ball at will, and then the Texans did what we needed to do, threw deep. And won.
Seriously, the Texans gave us every chance they could to win this game and we still lost. Nick and Saban and Capers need to grow some guts. If you want a short gain give it Ronnie, throw it downfield, defend the freakin short pass, go for it on fourth and goal when down by 2 scores and tell your team to win the game. You have to sieze a victory, not have it handed over.
Wow, we just lost to the second worst team in football, that game was sad. A waste of my $300 to go see it :fire:
