New coach Nick Saban's first objective last season in South Florida was to establish a tough and tenacious identity for his defense, making resiliency its mantra. In Crowder, the sixth pick of the third round, Saban found an athletic, rangy linebacker who should be a willing and productive foot soldier in Saban's army for years to come. Crowder started 14 games last season, and although he came up short in individual statistics, he helped set the tone for a defense that resolved to fight opponents all day long.

"Tenacious D", gotta love the sound of that. When Wanny was here our defense was referred to as Vanilla, melting away when the pressure is on. Channing Crowder is the man!
 
Crowder is sick... and one of the HUGE steals in last years draft...
 
Saban Will benefit from knowing the SEC for another couple of years. Crowder IS sick, Ronnie is the man, and Daniels has been a good contributor. This draft will be exciting.
 
i agree crowder is the the future of the fins.if we dont go with jackson or holmes @ 16 then i say carpenter or greenway.
can you imagine
crowder,thomas,carpenter,taylor as our lb core that would be sweet

I just love the fact that this guy totally made us forget about Morlon Greenwood....he's nothin but a hair on a knat's a$$ now :)....I just wish we could get more players like that....maybe like an outstanding replacement for Pat Surtain? I mean we got Will Allen but honestly we all know he's not a Pat Surtain :)
