over rated. He is an awesome OLB, and though he has played this season way better than he did last year, I see him get beat and bull rushed by too many running backs week in and out. Yes he stopped LT last week on the goal line but this is the most memorable stop I have of him in the last 2 years.

I've seen him bounce off too many running backs to call him a good ILB. I guess I'm just spoiled cause I'm still used to Zach and how he would blow people up in the backfield, but I don't see Channing anywhere near Zach's level. Unfortunately.

He is the best ILB we have, but he isn't ****. Secondary should be our first priority in positions to improve but we should definitely jump on a good MLB if have the chance to.

He's the best ILB we currently have and I am actually impressed with how he has taken on this role. He is second on the team in tackles with 25 trailing Bell with 30... However, when your safety IS leading your team in tackles, its a knock on the linebacking crew

Wow because he's not at the level of the best MLB to ever strap it on for the Phins, he's overrated? You kill me.

Wow, take it easy. Crowder is a pretty good linebacker. Is he Zach Thomas? Of course not, but who is? Zach Thomas is a hall of famer. It will be a long time if ever that we see a guy on the Dolphins play like Thomas did. Crowder has some big shoes to fill, and he's done a good job so far.

I'm still seeing Crowder miss a lot of plays that he should make. I focused on him when I re-watched the Chargers game and he made some mistakes out there. I have to say he has improved from last year but he won't be around here next year.

Fact of the matter, is we will be concentrating 1st on DB's/WR (maybe FB second) then on LB's this comming offseason which means we will either be bringing in a couple of young guys from the mid rounds in the draft or someone in FA.

But who is out their that is available that you would really want to bring in that would be an upgrade to Crowder? Their is not much out their this year that fits our system.

We are better off resigning Crowder for a year or two and let a developmental(midround draft pick develop slowly into our system. With the way the Trifecta is drafting, I wouldnt doubt seeing alot more players being picked up next year after round 3 or 4 that are all considered "developmental" which in essence just means they played in a small school that didnt get much coverage.

Crowder atleast brings intagibles with him, he is very emotional and brings alot of intensity to our D.

He was already crying about his contract this offseason. He will demand more money than his production dictates.
You better believe we will be looking to upgrade if we are going to throw a pile of cash out for a LB.

I hate to say it, but I agree with the fact that he is overrated. I hate discussing these issues when we are playing at such a high level, but Crowder is a bit overrated. It seems like he is always blowing pass coverages and cannot keep up with the passing game. Everytime I see someone passing against him he always seems to get there after the ball has been caught.

I like his speed and size and he is defientley the best MLB we have right now.

He was? when? i dont remember hearing anything from him about it... if he was he can hit the road.

Yes he is overrated, but again who is out their that would be an upgrade? Trust me, He will get fair market value out in FA, once he see's that he is not worth what he wants he will redo his contract for 1 or 2 years and try to overprove his case for his last chance at a fat paycheck which is normally the 3rd time you hit FA.

Either way I truly beleive he will be a dolphin come next year. Best Case scenario he has a breakout season the rest of the year and this conversation is mute.
