Dolphins | Close to a Deal with Crowder

Harvey Fialkov, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports a source said the Miami Dolphins are close to signing rookie LB Channing Crowder to a four-year contract.


Hopefully we can get a deal struck sometime tomorow.

that'd be great. crowders the most intriging rookie we have. could be good. might not even play this season. we have no idea.

Why wouldn't he play this season? He is likely competeing for a starting spot and he could be one of the four LB's when we are in 3-4 formation. He has been healthy for two years now.

not every rookie ends up playing. Theres a very high possibility that hes gonna get a lot of time playing, and maybe starting. but then again, we said that about carey last year. things happen.
 
It's nice to see that Alabi's agent didn't get all obsessed with Wright and seeing if he could beat out what his agent was getting for him.

Channing Crowder-deal nearing completion
Travis Daniels-signed
Anthony Alabi-signed
Manuel Wright-signed
Kevin Vickerson-unsigned

I think that is how it currently stands...for those who don't know
 
good job so far! Daniels, Abali, and Wright are all signed with Crowder almost done and Vickerson either has to be close to done or we just won't sign him as is rumored since we got Wright. So we only need Roth and Brown to sign now
 
I wonder if Miami could wrangle a 7th out of Atlanta for Vickerson.

Hey, I haven't seen that exact rumor yet.
