I watch the charger play a few times this year, i am not impressed, lt dosen't look the same........... he nver gets big yardage, they give him the ball on the 1, and 2 yrd line to keep his stats up, but i am not impressed, i am more worried about sproles, he is hungry and FAST.........
the charges d is not the same without merriman,

we should beat them, they are overconfident, and not the same as last year, and norv sucks too, just like when he was in miami.........

prediction miami... 24 chargers 20.........

i was hoping for the raiders to lose, because chargers will be overconfident, and get punched rigt in the mouth by ronnie brown. just like NE was....
 
Lt is playing with a toe injury, and is getting healthier week by week.

I think the team is mature enough not to get over confident. I think they learned from teh last 2 seasons. I do think this will be a good game, and anyone on either side who has checked this as an easy win will have some nails bitten off by the end of it.

they never even make the super bowl with all that talent, they choked against new england, that was when they had schottenmimer too, they had all the talent in the world like, 9 pro-bowlers and still could not make it,,,,, there weak, and they will get run over by r and r ..

If you are going by the past (which i think you are by talking about never making it to the superbowl)

Then you are forgetting about the past- they are extremely tough during the regular season

I think you are setting yourself up for disappointment. By thinking the chargers are weak, what happens if we lose? do you then say- we lost to a weak team so we are even worse?

Lets just hope for a close game and if we win we ARE better than we thought, if we lose and stay close, we MIGHT be better than we thought
 
We have a parcell's team. phycical, diciplined, ..... not that let's keep it close crap, we play to win....... period....... if we lose tony s. rip 's the team until they step it up WIN .......... we are capable of beating anyone in the nfl...........

:unsure: I didnt say play to keep it close, you play to WIN

I was trying to say we will be lucky if we are still in it at the end of the game

I will be celebrating a win ALL year
but i wont be heartbroken IF we lose because i know deep down as much as i love this team we have only won 2 games since 2006 :(

it takes time and if we beat them it will be an UPSET not a game we should have won because San Diego is weak :err:

I couldn't agree more! Who wins this one will know they have been in a fight.:up:
 
Chargers are not weak - overall they are extremely dangerous and one of the toughest opponents we'll face all year.
 
The Chargers are one of the top teams in the AFC, if we beat the Chargers today we can then start talking playoffs. Now I am not saying we are going to beat SD, but we are capable and a win today will definitely make me believe in this team.
 
I agree that the Chargers have not lived up to their potential this year yet, but it is still way too early to assume they can't turn it up now. Unless the weather changes things radically, this would be a perfect game for them to come out and prove they are capable of being an elite team (even if they choke in the playoffs... as was pointed out we are still in the regular season)
 
we'll see after the dolphins beat them, your all gonna say " i said they had a chance" ......... we have a much better coaching staff than the chargers.... and there seconday is LAST in the league....... they are not what they used to be... just like the pats are not either , the top teams in the nfl really fell off.... ........ they lost the leader of the d......... we know what injuries can do to a team....

Can you clarify what you mean by this? Did anyone responding to you say that we have no chance? You will have a point if the phins crushingly defeat them because nobody responding expects that, but not if we just win. From what I read here, everyone agrees we have a chance to win. The only difference is that many fans responding in this thread feel that the Chargers are still a good team making a win potentially much more meaningful.
 
The Chargers are a good team, its crazy to be calling them out and saying they suck, c'mon. That said, the Dolphins are not last years door mats, either. I don't think the Chargers are taking this game seriously and that could cost them, especially if the weather plays a factor in the game. We have had over 3" of rain since yesterday and there is more rain in the forecast. The conditions may stay wet and that may effect the passing game a bit, and that's advantageous to Miami.

There is no excuse for the Dolphins. They have had 2 weeks to get ready, everyone is healthy and they should have momentum from the big win in the last game. I don't want to hear about the team being "flat" or whatever. I hope we see a good performance and another big win.
 
I hope today we can extend our biggest win streak in over a year.....................2!
