Hey Phins fans-

We just got finished dropping the hammer on the Faiders (as you did the week before) and all of us in Chargers land are looking forward to seeing the Bolts and Phins tangle next week.

Many of us are wondering if Seau will be joining the team on the trip west...do any of you know if he will or not?
I know he is on IR, but will he at least get introduced or be on the sideline?

Other than Junior, there are a lot of ex Chargers on the Phins roster and we are eager to see them in action again too.

Great playing the past couple weeks.....I hope it is a good game with no serious injuries. See you all there!

BTW- Props to Chris Chambers yesterday....what a game!

Im not sure if they usually make the trip, but I think Seau will. Looking forward to a good game next week.

Thanks, Igor. It's hard to say if Jr will make the trip west or not. usually, guys on IR stay behind rehabbing but since this is in Jrs hometown, I wouldn't bet against it. We mat hear something later on in the week.

Hey, quick question, Igor, since we seem to have traded lots of players lately. Wondering what you're opinion is of Jamar Fletcher, as he was pretty universally seen as a bust here. Just curious if it was poor talent evaluation or poor coaching. Either way, Wanny really screwed that one up for us.

Also, what was the opinion of McIntosh while he was there? Were you guys sorry to see him go, or did you give him a lift to the bus station?

PS Thanks for the loan of Jr. the past couple years. He's really helped us out, but we all know he'll always be a bolt at heart.

That is what I was thinking too....since he does still live in Diego, maybe he would still make the trip.

Thanks for the info guys, alot of us have been looking forward to this game for a variety of reasons, but Junior is at the top of the list. It will be a shame if he stays home, but it will be a great game nonetheless.

he can go but if memory serves me right IR players can't dress out or go onto the feild, so he may be in the stands but not on the sidelines

Igor

Do you know if there is a time and place at the stadium where the visiting players meet and sign autographs?

Islandah-

Macintosh was more liked than not liked, but he had his fair share of detractiors. Jamar Fletcher doesnt get enough love around my way IMO. We have 3 players on the Bolts:
1) Fletcher - Mia
2) Jue - Green Bay
3) Hart - Philidelphia

who came to our team from sitting behind pro bowlers at their last job. All have helped alot this season in their limited roles. Without those 3 the Chargers would have like 2 INTS all year long, and only Jue is actually starting.

Fletcher had a great preseason, but hasnt had enough time to shine on the field since. He got to start about 3 weeks ago due to injury to our #2 CB Florence, and he played like I knew he could. If he didnt earn the #2 spot with his play that day (he didnt) he should have at least been raised to our nickel back.
The Bolts problem is they have some "very good" CBs who can do the job...but they dont have a great (Madison, Surtain) CB on the roster. This means that they dont NEED or WANT to make any moves (they have 3 first round picks at CB), but we have to see whole games go by without a single INT from ANYONE......and then we lose by 3 points :( . I think Fletcher is worthy of being the #2, but I am in the minority.

I was also HUGE on Wes Welker and I whined out-loud all year when he became the player that I knew he could be for you guys. We got rid of him and then suffered on special teams to the point where we drafted a returner (and a good one at that) in the 4th round of the draft. His name is Darren Sproles and he is about 5 foot tall (Im only kind of joking). He only returns kicks (I think they are taking him off of punts), but I think his return stats are better (barely) than Welkers at this point. Welker is also a WR though...and a Kicker if he needs to be ;). I kind of miss him too.

Boston....you can have him.

Seau....the exact opposite of Boston ;) - We (most of us anyway) want him back!!

Thanks again for the info guys.

PS- AZ, I dont know about the autograph thing, but I might be able to ask someone at the Chargers forum. I will come back and post whatever I find out on that for you.

Wasnt Takeo Spikes on the sideline of the Dolphins game yesterday?

Thanks.

I more just want to meet them than an autograph. I am going to try Seau's on saturday.

There are some guys from the Diego area on the Chargers board who are going to try Seau's too. I asked about your question on the forum AZ....so far no real definite info, but I'm sure someone will eventually know.

because I might not be online for a little while.

You have all been great, feel free to stop by our forum and share some info or just BS with some Bolts fans. We do have a Smack Shack for verbal warfare.....but we just finsihed up with the Faiders and most of us have had enough of that for a while. ;)

Igor-

Thanks for the answer. Nice to have a classy fan from an upcoming opponent on the boards. Yeah, we definitely found some magic with Welker. Boston was a low cost gamble, so he doesn't bother me. Like I said, we knew what we were getting with JR. Lucky to get his services for a couple years. Good luck with Jamar and I hope he starts getting you lots of picks, starting in a couple weeks;)

Classy post from a Chargers fan. I am a little older and have been a Dolphin fan from their beginning. Before the Dolphins, I was a charger fan back when they had Lance Alworth among other greats. I am sure you will have a big celebraition when Seau retires as a Charger as he should, but we Dolphin fans will enjoy his play while we have him. Since there is very little hope for the Dolphins this year I wish you luck in the playoffs, but just not in next weeks game.

Thanks for the post IGOR...here's to Bree's performing like he did the kast time these teams met!!:D

I guess Quentin Jammer has been somewhat undewhelming for them, huh?

He was supposed to be a "can't miss" prospect at CB when drafted... So much for that label in this league...
