Nice to see Clay getting some recognition for his contributions.

Nine months ago, the Dolphins made headlines by draping Ryan Tannehill with a rich selection of expensive weapons in the passing game. Mike Wallace was signed to flip the switch deep, and tight end Dustin Keller was imported as the ultimate safety blanket for Miami's second-year pro quarterback.

When Keller was lost for the season in August to a grisly right knee injury, Miami's tight end position looked like a tire fire -- then came The Claymaker.
After catching 34 passes over his first two seasons as a minor piece of the pie on offense, Clay has turned it on this season, hauling in 60 receptions for 678 yards and six scores. One of those touchdowns -- a rugged, 12-yard grab in Sunday's 34-28 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers -- kept Miami's postseason hopes afloat.

he has been big for us. hes been making plays and getting in the end zone.

I thought we were in big trouble when Keller went down. I always liked how Clay played in his limited role the last two years, but never did I think he'd perform at this level. He has been huge! No doubt he's on his way to the Pro Bowl

Clay may be the Dolphin Offensive MVP of season. Tannehill in the running for sure if he balls the next few games.

This was a guy that was seemingly in the doghouse all throughout training camp. Great to see him finally play to his potential.

I liked him last year, just thought he needed to be more consistent. He definitely stepped up this year!

Most improved and biggest surprise by far, but the QB is MVP.

We went from No Playmaker's To Claymakers. Imagine that. And the only significant difference is Mike Wallace, otherwise it's the same group of guys both on Defense and Offense making plays all over the place. To the Tune of Over 40 +20 Yard Plays and 13 +40 yards plays. 3rd In The League in INT's and 5th in the league and sacks. Yet we still don't get the respect from even our fanbase. Who want to get rid of this guy, that guy and etc. And this is till one of the youngest teams in the league, imagine just how far we can go, if we can keep some resemblance of continuity..

Luckily some of us know..

 So funny to see you write this.

Of course you and you clown pose's would find it funny, but it's factual and truthful, so whatever.

CD305 playmaker:

Davone Bess

But at least you finally acknowledge that we didn't have enough playmakers.
