Rogers was in Miami on Wednesday after working out for the Dolphins on Tuesday. He also met with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. Fletcher said no signing was imminent on Wednesday, but expected movement "within 48 hours."
Rogers' uncle, Ronie, who lives in Saginaw, said Rogers would not comment until current talks are settled.
"Things are moving fast," said Ronie Rogers, noting several Michigan State ties with the Miami Dolphins such as coaches Nick Saban, Bobby Williams and Charlie Baggett.
