Some mocks have us taking Clint Sintim, or Larry English but I think if we're looking for a great pass rusher we need to look no further than #56. Before he tweaked his hamstring in camp this year he was set to start opposite Joey Porter. He's 6-4 250 and fast. And towards the end of the season he started to make a lot of plays. Do you guys think Anderson has what it takes to be a productive pass rusher?

I would think if he had the tools the coaching staff wrere looking for he would have played more of a role by the second half of the season.

ya our pass rush was non existant last season. if he didnt play then, im not sure he could ever play. P.S. -he has to be the stupidest ST player ever. he was called for holding anytime Ginn had a decent return

If it gets him off special teams, I'm all for it. I lost count on his ST holds last year.

He's getting big money so I think they have plans for him.

I think he can be a role player but not a top starter....Parcells and company will draft an OLB.....he's always drafted impact LB's in the past and he'll do it again with us.

Ozzy rules!!

he has potential just has to reach it

i dont see us drafting an OLB high, why did we sign Cameron Wake? and we have charlie anderson and matt roth along with porter, ILB is a much bigger need with crowder walking

Charlie who? I must have missed those games.

best LB's on the current roster:
1) Porter
2) Wake
3) Ross
4) Torbor
5) Anderson

if this is it for 2009 & it very well could be, how to align your 4 starters is the real question

maybe: porter-ross-torbor-wake? starting to miss crowder?

akin adoyle is better then either of those ILBs

then put him in the line-up
who are the probable starters & where they will they play

Um so you would rather have him cause penalties on defense then??

as of right now Porter-Akin-Torbor-Wake but we will sign somemore LBs and draft one or two

He did. Didn't you watch the games this season? Anderson played lights out the last 4 or 5 games and had like 2.5 sacks in that span as well as many QB hurries.

Yes, I agree with you 100%.
