he's called the NFL's "draft guru" amongst the players. looking at this list, i'd be reluctant to call him that:



yes, reggie mcneal is the #1 overall player to him.

And if I remember correctly, he had Adrian McPherson as a top 5 player last year. :lol:
 
Actually he later said that not every guy would be one of the top picks but a player he thought was interesting and somebody he would keep his eye on when they came into the league, he used the example of Seneca Wallace who he had rated very highly when he came out.
 
yes he said they weren't necessarily top picks, but he did say they were his top players in the draft. he even bragged about seneca wallace, saying he was right about him because he caught a pass in the championship. ridiculous.

He's most likely wrong on 8 out of 10 of those........but so would anyone else be.

remember, all of the NFL had players such as Heah Shuler, Akili Smith, and Ryan Leaf right at the top of their respective drafts.......pretty smart, huh?

and how hard would you have been laughing at someone if they had Tom Brady atop their draft board for that year......we all would have called him an idiot too.

i'd understand brady a lot more than mcneal, that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure that he's projecting them as NFL players.....so yes on in that he can be wrong. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe he is just listing them by who he likes the best as a person. then, okay, he can't be wrong. :goof:

I'm not dissing him by saying that.....everyone is always way off on these types of projections. I was actually trying to beat back some of the abuse he was taking by saying that maybe he is right on McNeal and everyone else is wrong. It's happened before (see Brady, Tom or Thomas, Zach) and I'm sure will happen this year, and the next, and the next.............................

he cant be wrong on his opinion like this. hes not projecting the draft, then you could say he was definitly wrong. Corey Chavous' knows what hes talkin about. he studies film like its his job. he knows more than me and you, you study film? who are you to say hes wrong honestly?
