Well, when he makes the point about the Maris family... he deos make an very good point.. And if the Colts do make it... it would be something of unbelieveable proportions that would likely never happend again in our lifetimes.
Maybe i am selfish.. Maybe I don't want the Colts to do it. And maybe he has a point. Like the hall of fame ceremonies every year... Bitter rivals admire each others accomplishments and greatness with each new inductee... With class and dignity that takes nothing away from their own.
 
This guy is calling the '72 phins jealous and bitter? Jealous of what? And what's there to be bitter about?

Sounds like he could be describing himself, considering the way the rest of the article is written.
 
Jim 'I love myself' Rome mentioned this on his show a few weeks ago saying he has become the biggest Colts fan this year for them to go undefeated because he is sick and tired of watching the '72 Dolphins pop the champagne every year.
These two clowns must sleep together because it sounds almost verbatim to what Rome said.
 
the 72 dolphins are mentioned every single year, and it doest start to get old.

but if the colts do it, they will be mentioned every single year. and im sure that would eventually also get old.
 
It's an unbelieveable accomplishment that's never been duplicated. It's our piece of bragging rights that no one can deny. Wouldn't it be ironic if the Co0ts took that and Manning took Marino's TD record in back to back seasons.

I love how he says "They're just rooting for any team that can help them keep a record. It's pathetic." and that he is rooting for any team that can beat that record, which happens to be the colts this year.
