Since the news died down, i started a mock draft game on a different NFL forum and here is how Miami's draft looks so far

Chris Long DE/OLB
Sam Baker OT
James Hardy WR
Jonathan Goff ILB
Martellus Bennett TE
DeMario Pressley DE/DT

Plus we still have a 4th, 6th and a 7th round pick.

We ended up trading for DeAngelo Hall CB, Jason Ferguson NT
We ended up trading Jason Taylor (2nd and 4th), Channing Crowder (in a multiple draft pick trade to get up in the 2), and Matt Roth (3th and 7th)


I know miami wouldnt do this many trades but its a fun way to pass the time until the draft and see who you could draft.....I think its a pretty good drat for miami

This draft was started before FA so alot of the draft picks wouldnt happen (like McFadden going to Atlanta cuz they got Turner in FA), so we are gonna start another one pretty soon.


With this draft our lineup would be
Defensive
Starks (DE), Ferguson (NT), Pressley (DE)
Long (SOLB), Goff (ILB), Torbor (ILB), Porter (WOLB)
Hall (#1 CB), W. Allen (#2 CB), Bell (SS), J. Allen (FS)


Offensive
John Beck (QB), Ronnie Brown (RB), Reagan Mauia (FB)
James Hardy (WR), Ted Ginn (WR), Ernest Wilford (WR), Martellus Bennett (TE)
Sam Baker (LT), Mormino or 4/5th rounder (LG), Satele (C), Smiley (RG), Carey (RT)

OG still Available is Drew Radovich USC and Eric Young TENN (both pretty good OG that we could take)
a QB is also an option at 4th round too. Best QB available: John David Booty USC, Josh Johnson SD, Erik Ainge TENN
 
Wow...I didn`t like any of that...except the JT trade..trade Crowder?? why?? I would pass on all those draft picks....I see BP doing this..barring any trades.

cason in the third ya right. he will be lucky to last to the 2nd. like i said this mock was just for fun. i would be very happy if it turned out like my mock. it improves our D and our O alot. i wouldnt mind Jake long if we traded down a few. i dont really like flacco that high. he has way too many flaws. you guys are just falling inn love with him arm strength and not looking at anyhting else. horrible footwork, has trouble with snaps under center, not very mobile.....and the list continues

Well it looks like Oakland is gonna get him, and in our next mock i dont think i will trade for him because he will probably be in Oakland by the time we start the other mock

Thats absolutely rediculous to think Taylor, Crowder, and Roth would get traded. I'll give ya the Taylor rumors are out there but i ultimately think he'll be playing in aqua and orange next season as will Crowder (our only young promising LB at the moment). And i sure would like to see where someone would give up a 3rd (not 3th) and 7th for Roth when he has not shown much over his short NFL career?
 
yeah, no chance we trade JT, croder, and roth. your mock itself wasn't bad though - but i would interchange goff for bell.
 
We have a league like this on this forum too, you should consider joining next year. We are in the middle of the draft right now (top of round 2 actually) if you want to check it out.
